It really, really is. Genuinely awful. Create a society of miserable isolated people devoid of meaningful interpersonal relationships and then sell them a pale illusion of one to keep them from topping themselves before you've squeezed the last bit of value from them that you can.
It's getting worse now. People are committing suicide and taking their relative(s) with them, because "Chat told them to". Both sides of this can fuck off. The corpos, and people constantly buying into their own delusions and hearing what they only want to hear, and not what they actually need.
I certainly agree on the corporate side, however, i think the people on the consumer side need the exact opposite of fuck off, i think they need a "come back to us"
Don't get me wrong, but it really depends on who or what we're talking about. When it comes to kids and teenagers, most certainly. Those with mental issues and are adults, I get to an extent, but even I have my limits. Especially when they know it's wrong, but they don't care. They'll feed in whatever delusion, just to hear what they want to hear. Everybody else be damned; family or not. On some level, this guy knew what he was doing was not right, but chose to ignore it anyway. For false comforts to something that was never actually there for hi.. People like him more so, can fuck off.
Certainly, I'm not going to give him a pass on killing his mother. Either way though, regardless of what someone may "deserve" I think 'come back to us' is a more effective solution than 'fuck off'.
