It's all very well to say that if a car hits you, the local hospital will patch you up in the Emergency Department no matter how poor you are. But that's a small subsection of healthcare. For a great deal else, if you don't have insurance or cash on hand, fair chance you won't get past the reception desk.
For a wide range of US healthcare, no money, no care. A person has cancer in the USA, I don't think anyone's obliged to treat them. No insurance and no money, they'd better hope there's charity that'll chip in or they are finished. It's not like that in any other Western nation as far as I know.
Never mind that much of good healthcare is preventative - tests, prophylactic medications, etc. Anyone who is hard up is going to think incredibly hard about whether they're prepared to pay $100 for a GP appointment (before any additional costs, e.g. tests.) It's not a myth that there are people who have to choose between medicine and food. It's well known how this ends up: someone has pain, they tough it out and hope it goes away until it gets too bad, and then find out that in that the intervening gap their once easily-treatable illness has progressed into expensively and difficultly-treated illness. And maybe they can't afford it, in which they're boned, and maybe they can in which case they'll be financially-crippled or bankrupted by debt.
This is not to say it's perfect in other countries by any means. But in terms of healthcare provision, I don't know any Western country that comes close to the USA for letting its poor rot.

You always tend to focus on the early part of the story, when Sweden seemed to be doing well, and ignore the overall picture: it got a lot worse.
Again, it's not on me to prove masks don't work, it's on people that claim masks work to prove their claim. There's no real evidence that masks work.
