Let's be real, if I were making this amount of money(I don't), and I got this amount of taxes taken away from me, and the conservatives weren't nutjobs ,I would want to vote Republican too. 839K in taxes.
This is the kind of statement that makes me wonder what the fuck planet some people live on.

$839k in taxes... from just over $2 million in revenue. So, their post-tax earnings in one a year was roughly equivalent to what an average American earns pre-tax in 20 fucking years.

How do you think the state pays for things, and who needs to be taxed for it? If you think that's too much tax, what does the government need to stop funding? Healthcare? Food stamps? Child support? Or do you want to give up developing whatever next generation high tech fighter/tank/missile boondoggle that you love to jizz over?

Just to be clear $839K tax is 41%. Yes, that's a little high of the normal 37& that anyone over $626K pay. I'd assume there is some state taxes in there too,as I've heard there some state taxes as well. You would not be getting tax that much less anywhere else in the US. Up to 100k less but probably less

Hang on a second. He's losing 32k in pre-tax deductions. So that's probably stuff like salary sacrifice for a car or additional retirement funding. Then there's the obvious taxes of $840k. That in theory would have left him $1.2million. So what the fuck are those post tax deductions to the tune of $1million and change? Is this guy paying alimony to like ten ex-wives/child support? Is that just all his expenses added up? Cos I'm not gonna lie, if you're still pulling in over a hundred and sixty grand a year with every single conceivable expense accounted for and dealt with would be an amazing existence.

Likely it's his 401K/retirement.

We have this guy paying this much in taxes, yet we don't even get universal healthcare.

This was not in your initial post. The initial post was more about pretending he was paying far more than his fair share

Edit: It made me think of this
No, you're right, but not paying his fair share wasn't it. It was more than likely that I understood why people vote republican or low tax dems, given how incompetent some of Trump's people are, and how bad some dem experts are, and this is what my taxes are funding.

Well much like The Epstein Files, they are free to immediately show that they are innocent by showing all of this proof they say they have that these are a bunch of drug dealers who need to be immediately and fatally dealt with ASAP rather than taken into custody and charged with a crime.

It's amazing how this administration can have so much proof showing how innocent and noble they are but they can't show it to us...

Oh, there's no dispute between this and the administration on the facts of the events: they monitored the ships for some time to conclude they were drug traffickers, they hit them with two missiles since the first didn't sink the ship.

The part where Hegseth says literally "kill them all" is complete hearsay, if I understand correctly. There is no proof.

The real question is when anyone started to take "psst, I heard he said this" as serious reporting.

So when the government says "Trust Me Bro", we take their word at it with complete trust that they are not lying? They monitored the boats, know for 100% certain that they are drug boats, and that that is all it takes to Judge Jury Executioner them in International Waters (which itself is an act of incredible dubiousness but that's not what we're arguing about right now so I'll leave that off the table).

(Also an Administration that has been straight up lying to your and our faces for years. Can't wait to finally see Trump's tax returns he said were going to be released, the $5,000 DOGE Checks we're all getting from all the savings they made, being able to buy everything I could ever want and more with The Greatest Economy ever, with my car filled up with the $2 gasoline we all can get, the new $2,000 Tariff Checks we're all going to be getting next year, and the Epstein Files that were going to be released that are now on the desk of that one lady that are now not real that are now a Democratic Hoax that are now not important at all that are now going to be released that we now don't care that they're going to be released that are now going to be re-investigated because it's actually the Democrats who did everything evil).

When journalists have sources (though granted, they are anonymous), we go "Yeah right, liar liar pants on fire!"? Their sources are all lying and the circumstantial evidence that we can all see (like the boats being double tapped), that's all just random coincidence and not proof of anything.

Got it!

Trump: "We're blowing up these boats off the shore of Venezuela because they're bringing drugs, trust me bro, drugs are poisoning this country and anyone who deals in them should die."

Also Trump: "I'm pardoning the former president of Honduras who was convicted of drug trafficking."

There's only one angle that I can see: Hernandez was convicted under the Biden administration, and Trump's ego needs to destroy anything good that his rivals did.

There also the fact that one of Hernandez’s was election interference so Trump likely sees him as a kindred spirit perusing the same goal: eliminating democracy in favor of autocracy

Yes, that's exactly Tstorm's credibility filter.

If it's Trump and team with their huge and demonstrable track records of dishonesty and fraud, assume their rectitude. Everyone else is assumed to be a liar.
