You know, every once in awhile Trump does something I approve of... kinda. Taking the Venezuelan tanker is dumb and pointless (just a few months ago he okay chevron restarting oil shipment) but seizing oil tanker is something that really should be explored more with Russia, between all the ship carrying out obviously illegal stuff (like cutting communication cable) and evading sanction, the world really stand by and passively let Putin get away with everything. I think that's almost exactly one of the things about Trump. Stuff here and there that you can really understand and get behind, except it's nearly all squandered in an overall package of incompetence, inconsistency, corruption, lies and bullshit. I love the fact he showed all those billionaires and big businesses who was boss... except rather than be used to interrogate excessive corporate power, it was all just so he could extract cash and favours for himself and his mates.
He's even at it now over Warner Bros. He's dead right that there's a massive problem with Netflix taking over WBD, except that he's not so much talking about principles of excessive concentration of media power and why this might be bad for the industry, but who his mates are and that CNN needs to start singing his praises.
Well, it's not like he starts throwing around words like "seditious" and "treasonous" when news outlets say things about him that he doesn't like.
