You can't vote for someone who isn't the candidate regardless. I don't think Harris would have the votes to win the primary either way. She wasn't even close this time, I am not seeing it happen in 4 years unless she does something spectacular this round.

Rewarding the far right =\= fighting against neoliberalism. In the end, you are only hurting progressives and the poor, that is who is actually punished by not voting. The Neo liberals are fine either way. Neoliberals are rewarded through voter suppression, not punished. Low turnout helps them almost as much as it does the far right.

I'm voting for biden for the record and while it's not wrong to vote for him to give progressives space there's ample reasoning to not trust that jackass.
He's from a past administration that fucked up an economic recovery and compromised too much with republicans and centrists. He's the one said adminstartion went and too "you're going too far" on that latter. Pessimism is warranted in this case even if doesn't make you messiah worshippers for being on the same level of it as me or them .

The homeless rate has been skyrocketing.. That is not a design flaw, it is a feature. Trump has talked about how he profited off the housing crisis, that is how he teaches people to make money by ensuring families lose their homes..

You've already failed at that mission. They already are in power. Not voting didn't change that.
Yeah... I still feel like it needs to be said that we're not buying his fake righteousness act. Still, the dude offers no pushback whatsoever at the accusation he's okay with sacrificing innocent people to Trump's policies. So I think we can safely conclude that no amount of human suffering is enough to dissuade him from his impotent crusade of doing nothing and calling that decisive action.

We don't really have much to be optimistic about tbh, we can only do the best we can with the tools we have. That is the best I am hoping for. That and a small sign of relief when Trump is no longer in control of FEMA, the Justice department, the EPA, the post office, the pandemic response .. the department of defense..
We REALLY need to be working on some viable candidate options for 2024 so this doesn't happen again.
