Lol that's a pretty weird and twisted take if I've ever seen one.
These chars are just cute, they're not seen as pitiable or as someone to take advantage of. It's just a joy to be around em or to see their antics. There's no such condescension or exploitative aspect that people are enjoying here.

Women protective of children seething at people sexualizing children and traits associated with children would be a more accurate statement. It is more of a " protective" response than a " jealous one". I don't have an issue with the character's body, like I said I do not view her body as abnormal. Hell porn is awesome too but I take issue with her being portrayed as child like, naive and ignorant. If they had her portrayed as an actual woman and not a kid aware of her own body, there would be no issue here, it is just the trend of sexualizing children that is seriously whack here. A girl not being aware of her own body = child or mentally handicapped. That isn't sexy. That is someone who you protect instead.

Anime has its own rules, it doesn't follow these real life ones. In this case here you just have a character who is a regular college student and is just a bit of a dumbass in this one very particular area and has a huge blind spot. It doesn't manifest in any other ways and doesn't limit the character's life in any way so calling it a handicap doesn't fit and it's nothing like a toddler because she still is shy about stuff. She's just not aware of how she affects the opposite sex and of her own sex appeal.
What you're describing is someone who just doesn't even understand sex appeal at all. No, she does, she just doesn't see HERSELF as having it. It's closer to a self-esteem issue than anything else, but without the negativity associated to it, because she isn't down on herself for not being hot, she just is used to not being hot due to being a tomboy and hasn't realized yet that she's hot. She's definitely mentally capable of dong so in the future.
The funny thing is that men also like these chars because they feel protective of them, too. But you're so busy projecting and being paranoid that you miss that very big charm point of theirs.

Or that her face is intentionally child like and like the girls that see sempai grabbing her hips are not made as child like? These details are not unintentional. Why would they intentionally write into the script that his boss thinks she is a child if they are not intentionally making her look like a child? This anime doesn't even try to hide it.
That was because he was crouching down and could only see her face. That, combined with her being like 2 feet shorter than the guy, that's a normal assumption to make.
I've seen similar 40-year-old women who are 2 feet or shorter than their husbands, and my first thought is "oh, that's his daughter, she must be around my age".
In the manga, those girls are literally faceless. They have no details that you could use to determine their age besides their clothing.

That's just the sort of humor male-intended rom-coms have in anime. Men are usually self-conscious about being perceived as liking underage girls (for reasons you're very apt at solidifying here I may add XD) so it's just a very easy joke to make. There's not much more to this. If people are looking for sexy lolis, this is not a show to go for, so again you're over-analyzing here.
No I meant about the viewer. The viewer is also protective of these chars too. There's just not this anti-sex or sex=harm methodology to the protectiveness.
