I'm just noting a double-standard where people say "ugh, why do you care? It's none of your business go away!" and also "why don't you accept us!"

If you want acceptance, poo-pooing on people asking questions, or assuming malice on their part, doesn't help. That's all. I'll go away.

I would think that if you want acceptance, then understanding is a prerequisite to that. Telling people to shove off because it's none of their business, and that they shouldn't care doesn't help.

So I was once asked why do I make a big deal about Transitioning. I ask, why do people make a big deal about birth? A new person in the world is a new person in the world.

My parents definitely learned something new. Seeing this on the Lester Nightly News earlier this evening. Hell, I just told them the Wachoswkis are have been MTF trans for several years now. Though I dad does not know the creators of the Matrix that well, he was genuinely shocked.

The Umbrella Academy was fairly big too, at least everyone in my office was talking about it both when the first season and second season came out in Netflix, so I'd hardly call him irrelevant, since the show is still ongoing I do wonder how his character is going to be handled since the character is a lesbian, but anyway good for him that he managed to find what makes him feel good in his skin, makes that one interview she had with Jair Bolsonaro even more cringey than it already was as he keeps telling Elliot what an attractive woman he is, this also explains why he was so upset about the Beyond Two Souls naked model thing.

Okay Im going to be crass here because I want to be clear: what gender/sexual orientation of person is he trying to attract/have a relationship with?
Lets assume Elliot is gay, meaning attracted to men. Those men are themselves attracted to men. So the target demographic is gay men who are attracted to men, but are okay with a partner with a vagina.
Lets assume Elliot is straight, meaning attracted to women. Those women are themselves attracted to men. So the target demographic is straight women who are attracted to men, but are okay with a partner with a vagina.
Lets assume Elliot is keeping the 'lesbian' sexual orientation from before she transitioned into a he. So the target demographic is lesbian women, who want to date a male, but are also attracted to a vagina.

It seems like a lot of paperwork and loops to jump through in terms of identification, consent, courtship, etc...

I'm guessing they are trying to attract Emma Portner, who they've been married for for like 3 years, and has publically stated their support of Page transitioning. So probably not a problem. (As an aside, the two of them have the same initials and look pretty similar)

Will be interesting to see what happens to Page's career now. On one hand, transphobia is a big thing, on the other, the only other famous FtM trans person I can name off the top of my head is Brendon Scholl. You know, Jennifer Lopez's sisters kid? So if someone wanted to hire a FtM actor people had heard of...

My sexuality 99.9% percent of the time normally focuses on to nerdy/geeky girls who know how to fight.

My sexuality also leads me to be disappointed often.
