I do: none.
I'll rephrase:

"It seems to me that you just don't know how many people in biblical times, according to the bible, had direct proof of God."

See, this whole time we were working under the assumption that the things depicted in the bible are true, since we're discussing the god depicted in that book. It doesn't make much sense to discard the very source of all of our knowledge about that god, now does it? But just in case you need that assumption spelled out for you, there it is.

Also:

The GOP is stealing American's ability to vote fairly. Taking away voting stations. Trying to make an inalienable right a little more alienable to minorities. Trying to restructure states' constitutions to make sure fair litigations do not happen. Choosing 'replacements' instead of letting the people choose if a representative leaves early.

This is what we should focus on.
Are you an activist, only interested in pushing certain views? Do you get paid to do this?

Because you don't seem interested in genuine discussion on this topic.
Other people posted about the left's attempts at "fortifying" the election, such as #7 but you don't seem interested in talking about that, nor did you even make one post about it in the other topic. If we're talking about shady groups and politics influencing the election let's talk about them. Or is it only wrong when Republicans do it?

You have the right to be narrowly focused on how bad republicans are, and the right to ignore everything outside of that viewpoint, but it makes you sound like you're either extremely partisan to the point of being blinded by it, or getting paid to do this.

Nearly all Christian religions rely on the bible canon for all their knowledge about the god of those books.
Do you have some other source from which we can learn about the god described there?

I do: none.
Remember you're talking to a guy who looks at CCTV of someone sitting down and counting ballots and sees Jewish zombies from Cuba voting. He's not what we call a reliable witness. I mean just the fact he thinks anything in the Bible can be considered factual or real is all the proof we need of his world view.

This is what we should focus on. Anything else gives certain parties power to control the focus of conversation, which they want more than anything else.
It ia true. It is horrible. Americans should stop voting Republican if they want to continue to pretend to live in a democracy.

I just don't see much room for discussion. It is just so obviously a powergrab hurting voters that you can't even debate it in good faith.

Prove it.
"When didn't you say we couldn't punish you?"

I can't prove a negative other than showing you my entire post history, which is available here, and pointing out how none of my posts provide evidence for what you have said.

I never said post, I said sees. And you can provide no evidence you don't see that. Which means you admit you do.

And when did I "bend" it? Can you quote me doing so?

What's vague about it? Do you not know what God promises?

It seems to me that you just don't know how many people in biblical times had direct proof of God.

You know that "burning pillar of divine flame" you mentioned earlier? That was direct proof of God. ALL of Hebrew slaves that were freed from Egypt saw that. That was the thing that guided them around the wilderness. And, of course, there was the whole "splitting the red sea" thing, which they all saw because they walked through it. Not only that, the food that fell from the sky every night.

Your argument simply doesn't hold up. Maybe you don't understand what faith is, or maybe you don't understand the true scale of people who had direct proof of God. Or perhaps your idea that "faith being diminished by direct knowledge is undesirable" is wrong.

Who brought up God first? Elijin.
I just made a simple statement about people believing things that aren't true.

At this point, you're like Marge:

🤨

I should have known the concept that religion cannot be objectively true was too much.

Cant say I'm a fan of the mocking though. Faith doesn't lessen someone, so long as they employ it with love, empathy and compassion.

If you didnt get it the first time, you're unlikely to get it the second time.

That sounds like code for "I can't back up what I said, so I'm just going to pretend that I proved my point and hope that nobody calls me out on it"

I suspect that deep down most of the freaks know Trump lost. Maybe they refuse to acknowledge that they know this, but that is not the same as genuinely not knowing it.
No they genuinely don't think that he lost. They literally think he was chosen by god, and is some divine champion, so they're already engaging that part of their brain that believes in crazy nonsense, and have just fused it with their demagogue. They haven't engaged with reason or reality for years, and whenever you try and talk to them otherwise, they just label you as a minion of the devil, for daring to not believe how they believe. And then they just stop listening to anything you say.

They are fucking lunatics with assault rifles, and a martyr complex. And a zealous certainty they are Right, so anything they do is right.

I mean, there's a middle ground. You don't have to assume they went full-on crazy. Someone might look at this picture of windows being boarded up outside of a counting room and then think that there was some fraudulent activity going on. That doesn't involve believing that Trump was chosen by God. There's no need to assume that every Trump supporter is a Q conspiracy theorist.

Nope (well, except for the apocrypha, which I consider to have the same amount of credibility). Luckily, your original statement with which I took issue just said "god", rather than "the god as described in the bible".

I'm hearing you. And on the one side, it makes perfect sense that they are out of their senses. But No. It can't be.

Because of the exact way they fall on the wrong side of every issue. Or how they all know how to grab onto a talking point. It's the reason why everytime there's an issue, they all say the exact same thing in response to it.

From how they all started saying 'thugs', a term that was reversed for cartoon villains when I was a child to describe minorities. Or how the term 'nothing Burger' sprang into their lexicon. The collective definition and reframing of everyone of BLM's points. They know what they are doing. And they will use it as long as it's beneficial to them.

There's no better proof to that than how quickly those who were arrested for 1/6 flipped on their champion and started pleading near insanity because Trump's magic words made them do it.

Not the Democratic Satanist Cabal. Not the Jewish Space Lasers. Not how AOC is going to use the Green New Deal to prevent you from eating Red Meat and replace it with Soy and Tofu to make us all so weak and delirious that we'll think socialism is a good idea (that one is for free, fellas): Just Trump.
