169: Phantom on the Tokyo Metro

After reading the first 2-3 pages I was gearing up to tear into the author through this comment box.. it is guys exactly like that who give gaijin such a bad name here. Spot on with the 2 years, 200 characters mix of misplaced pride and self-effacing rubbish they all seem to spout too. Nice...

    What should I play?

Silent Hill 2 is well worth a roll.. you can likely get it on your PC, even if you can't find a PS2 kicking about (hm. or xbox for that matter). Also, your English is fantastic mate - no worries at all.

Poll: Why are we all here?

Zero Punctuation. I have tried to like the rest of the videos etc, but I am afraid they are terrible. Some of the editorials are quite good though and the boards are pretty good.

Only Three Of Ten Games Recover Costs, EIF Chairman Claims

    1) His "guess" and some unnamed, ethereal "research" states that 7 / 10 games don't make a profit? 2) This depends wildly on the given definition of games. I mean even now most "games" must be the small online / trial / independent sort. Not everything is released by big companies, or indeed to...

    Official Olympics Thread.

Watched the ceremony at a pub in Tokyo.. thought it was pretty good actually, couldn't fail to be impressed. Interesting to see the ambivalent responses of the Japanese too - mixed between neighbourly pride and neighbourly suspicion. Bit like the rest of the world I guess. C'mon the Aussies!

    Strange fears you have...

Guitar Hero: On Tour, Bringing the Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll to the DS

I'm with LewsTherin - the title notion of bringing sex to the DS was a strangely compelling one! Nice review though - good work.

    Self-rightous ads...

Not trying to poke fun here or anything, but suicide is actually illegal in many many places throughout the world.. perhaps the majority. It is an interesting legal / philosophical point.

    Dreadful. Truly and absolutely dreadful.

159: A Site To Call My Own

"Gamerswithjobs, or GWJ as it is more affectionately known" .. "Gamerswithjobs" = 4 syllables .. GWJ = 5 syllables Maybe verbally, but in a written article? Oww.. ^^

Dead Rising on the Wii..........Didn't see that one coming

Whether or not your analysis is true, "not-intelligent" Nintendo has been winning the sales race all over the world to this point.. Of course I live in Japan, so best of both worlds ^^

Marriage - Is it worth it?

Well this is a negative thread so far! I'm all for marriage, in the way that it is a "good", if completely unnatural, thing for society. It provides a stable base from which to raise kids - ie the next generation, for one thing. However, I do think that a) too many people tend to get...

    Zero Punctuation: Webcomics

Wonderful.. slightly surprised the inexplicably popular PennyArcade escaped largely unscathed, but nice and cathartic over all. Cheers Yahtzee!
