I could be wrong, but I think different story origins (classes) have access to different races off the bat, and once you complete that origin you get those race choices for other origin stories for free. Also, when you get that 60 day pass I swear you get something like 2000 free cartel coins...

exactly this. fuck all about games, this is about an investment in money, all the games they make can be sold yearly and/or with lots of easy to pump out DLC/microtransactions and shit. sure I'd love more story based games, but until they physically come out, not much I can do about it...
