July 2014 Best Month for Comic Books in Recorded History

Yea, but sometimes its good to vote with your dollar. The individual issue sales will pop up sooner than the trade sales. Its also what is being used to judge whether a series will get cancelled or not.

July 2014 Best Month for Comic Books in Recorded History

I heard Loot Crate only bought 100,000 issues, but your numbers could be more accurate the site doesn't really say. Regardless I hope RR sells well this month as well and continues to do so. Its a solid comic with good writing/art (since when could Young write?) and its nice seeing Cosmic...

Escape to the Movies: 300: Rise of an Empire

    >Bob showing his buttdevastation over 300's depiction of a bunch of alpha males holding a ridge. I can understand the criticism behind it, and granted it is valid, but did you really have to come off whiny about the whole thing? This goes as bad as calling back to your SNES days. I always...

Dungeons & Dragons Next Release Date, New Product, Leak - Update

D&D 5e is a solid system and if you're coming off from 3.5 you're going to enjoy it. It got rid of a lot of the needless complexity that 3.5 had. The playtest also did a good job of getting player feedback in there to further refine the rules. The complexity of rules might change when more...

The Elder Scrolls Online PVP Guide: Siege Warfare

I've been in the beta for several sessions and the game is disappointing on so many levels. Every time I boot it up for another beta session its small problems keep piling up in bigger problems. Ignoring the pve issues you can understand my disappointment when pvp the most touted of ESO...

Paramount Ditches Film For Digital With Wolf of Wall Street

It sucks to see film go that way. I don't think it'll ever be truly dead though. There will still be a group of filmmakers that prefer to shoot in film than in digital.

Escape to the Movies: The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

Bilbo was wearing the ring, but it came off for reasons that can be a light spoiler so I'll leave it out. He was alone like in the book and Smaug didn't care for him one bit as well. Also Smaug delivered a few lines directly from the book. One that sticks out is: "My teeth are swords, my claws...

Escape to the Movies: The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

I really dug Luke Evans as the Bard great casting choice and Laketown looked great overall. My favorite location visually so far. Smaug was a knockout. The scene with him talking with Bilbo was the best part of the movie in my opinion.

Escapist News Now: Elder Scrolls Online Release, PVP Gameplay

Played the beta. Gonna spoil it for you right now so you won't burn a hole in your pocket later. The game isn't good. Its bland. The Generic Scrolls Online is a monicker I reckon some will paste on to it. They took a sledgehammer to cannon and wrecked it ruining the feel of being in...

Mortal Kombat: Legacy 2 Comes Out September 26

Never been a binge watcher myself. I much prefer to digest my movies over a long period of time for more refined and cultural enrichment like a snake swallowing a field mouse whole and staying in its place as it slowly dissolves the bastard whole down to its very fine marrow.

    WHITE GUY DEFENSE FORCE GO!

Wait. That was your first black character? Now that's racist.

    Escape to the Movies: Riddick

I like Riddick and the genre. Its different enough to appeal to me. I don't know why everyone expects every movie to be stellar. Sometimes a movie is just there to entertain you for two hours and it looks like this film accomplished that. I'm excited to see this one.

    Elder Scrolls Online Hands-On Preview

This is what I'm worried about too. It isn't a big problem for pve as far as I've seen, but pvp is an entirely different beast. The singleplayer combat mechanics never seems like it will work well for pvp. Only way we'll ever find out is when we get our hands on the game.

    Xbox? Done.

I jumped ship in the middle of the 360 life cycle. Shifted to PC gaming and am thoroughly content with it. I have not looked back ever since and I implore others to vote with your wallet. If you don't want this then don't buy it. Eventually they will realize when their quarterly returns are...
