I really did lol. The Escapist needed to shut up about hackers (they almost sounded like they admired them). Maybe not so much since they themselves got hacked.

I knew it was linear when I bought it, so was not disappointed or a bit bitter towards it, and instead enjoyed it for what it was. Also, it is quite an accessible JRPG for those not big on them. I'd give it around 8/10 myself.

Actually, I don't think it was amusing at all, as it led to other hackers (although I wouldn't be surprised if it was Anonymous still) causing one of the biggest upsets for gamers in recent years. I also find you encouragement of them, by calling it "a laugh" distasteful, and it's irresponsible...

It's articles like this that give Anonymous their power. If you ignore them, they'll go away. If you report on their actions in this manner, they think we all love them, instead of realising we think they're all dicks.

It's hard for us non-Americans to understand this kind of thing very often, but what we have to remember is that a good proportion of American's have a real sense of belonging to their country.
