Well I use 3 email accounts, 1 for work, 1 for serious accounts (sites that wouldn't sell you're email, mmorpg accounts, etc.) and 1 for you're average account. And so far so good all of my spam goes to my last email

If you'd ban games in total for the gamer then you'd have to ban intoxicating substances in total for the alcoholic. If a wow addict can't play wow he would probably go to a different mmorpg (different substance) just like an alcoholic.
