    Escapist Gamer Nights?

I don't own anything in the way of FPS really. Only games I've got that I can play online are AC:Brotherhood and Revelations, I do own Tekken 6 and Burnout: Paradise but my missus plays them far more than I do. All for PS3 by the way. If anyone fancies adding me my PSN username is...

    Alan Turing didn't commit suicide?

Of course being 'jolly' doesn't suggest anything, I'll agree. However what this guy's saying is that if the same set of circumstances happened today there's no coroner anywhere who would qualify this as suicide, they'd demand more evidence. I won't deny that given what Turing was put...

    Alan Turing didn't commit suicide?

So, as google is telling everyone [http://www.google.co.uk/], it's Alan Turing's 100th Birthday today and while I'm no expert on the man I know enough to feel that this should be at least mentioned and brought to people's attention given the amazing work this genius man did both during WWII and...

Question for my fellow British escapists..

Well I'm in West Sussex and I can't say I've noticed a lot of them. However this is how I feel about kids when I see them: So it's possible that they are riding them but I just haven't noticed.

Ender's game Movie 2013 How will it fair? will be such a good sci-fi film or will it be a farce?

I always get nervous when any of my favourite books are being turned into films. It very rarely works out well as directors/producers tend to take the parts from the book that have the widest appeal and focus on that so what you're left with is a watered down version. I predict that that...

    Old games that aged well

I'll have to agree with most of what's been said already: Banjo Kazooie, Half-Life 2, Age of Mythology, Max Payne etc. I'm amazed no-one has said Okami yet however. The art style and gameplay on that game are fantastic. Don't think I'd ever get bored of that gorgeous game.

Please recommend me a good interactive story experience

Can't believe I didn't mention this. Sacman sums it up nicely. The original Deus Ex is still in my top 3 games of all time

Please recommend me a good interactive story experience

Someone's already mentioned it and as soon as I saw this thread the first game that came to mind was 'The Longest Journey'. 'The Longest Journey: Dreamfall' is also good but the first one is definitely better. 'Grim Fandango' is also a fantastic game. These are all older PC games and...

    Horrible bosses

Does an incredibly inept boss count? My boss is a nice enough person but has no clue what she's doing. She's recently bought the lease on the pub I work in, she cannot change a barrel properly despite me showing her 7 times (both cask and keg), doesn't have the first clue how to perform a...
