If you don't have it already, get the Broken Steel expansion. I find the game incredibly boring once I hit the level cap, and those 10 extra levels make a huge difference.

The quality of the Legacy of Kain games has it's ups and downs (Blood Omen being waaay down) but the two constants are the excellent voice acting and the glorious Kain. I definitely agree with your review here.

It's true games really don't last like they used to, unless they have multiplayer. The last game I bought was Assassin's Creed 2, and since then I've rented maybe 20 games, none that I really thought about buying afterwards. I wouldn't even rent them again. Of course that's gonna end whenever...

I definitely enjoyed the game play mechanics on Warrior Within the most, but that final stretch on The Sands of Time where you don't have the dagger and work your way up the tower... It has a special place in my heart, and that's enough to make me like it more.

I'm actually surprised that a game like Heavy Rain has managed to sell so well. 500,000 copies world wide in the first week (according to vgchartz) is pretty impressive for something that isn't an action game.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is the hardest game I can remember playing. I had it on the easiest setting and I still found it frustrating as hell. It was harder than playing Ninja Gaiden Sigma on hard, I think.

Demon's Souls. I thought the combat looked like garbage through videos, but then I got my hands on it and played it like 4 times in a row. Partly for trophies, and partly because it was so damn fun.
