This formal analysis of MGS 2 is absolutely fascinating, and shows just how misunderstood MGS 2's story is.

My first PC gaming memory was watching my dad playing Halo 1. My first PC game I played was Splinter Cell, but without guns because my mom hated "gun games". I still remember the tutorial level with the room full of chains. My first game was probably Joust at the (now completely demolished)...
The pink hair wasn't a design choice though. It was a technical limitation in the color palette of Link's sprite. They needed the pink for the bunny sprite when you go to the dark world without the pearl.
There are computer ports of Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2 as far as I know. YMMV on the controls if you're not using a controller. Mark of the Ninja and Stealth Bastard are also solid choices. If you're into multiplayer co-op, try Monaco: What's Yours is Mine.
Does Final Destination count as a map? Otherwise, Rainbow Road for sure. I used to play Mario Kart all the time with my friends.
Captcha- battle royale
It's like it can read my mind.
I couldn't really, either. I played the demo at a friend's house, so I totally understand the "clusterfudge" you mentioned, but the demo was light on dialog, so I didn't see any of the risque jokes.
You might try The Wonderful 101. It's difficult, but it's creative, colorful and exciting. Also, it's a bit of an homage to weird action cartoons like Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers and such.
I think that if you think that you are going to play it, you should definitely pick one up. The games are consistently great and the Streetpass functionality is suprisingly cool.
Personally, I got the Fire Emblem Awakening 3DS, and I really like the design. (great game too.)
I've heard from a lot of people that Metal Gear as a whole is either a love it or hate it affair. Personally, starting with MGS3, I've been playing through these and have firmly planted myself in the "love it" category. The "hate it" crowd usually riff on the spotty controls and the goofy sense...
Hate to bug you again, but I think I've made up my mind. Do you happen to have a Totodile lying around? I love the Silver starters. Doesn't have to be a specific nature or gender. Could you name him Dundee? Now that would be a knife. Thanks! You're the best!
