I'm pretty sure that that's standard SOP for video game companies, not just EA/Bioware. Why spend more money on an IP that's gotten middling-to-poor reactions two games in a row? They don't make them for the art, after all.
Wasn't it Shiguru Miyamoto that said something about it being better to release a good game later than a bad game now? I think that Nintendo could stand to apply that to its consoles as well...
That assumes that the quarters will actually 'do' such a thing. If the game hasn't convinced me that some magic's gonna happen, why should I stick around?
Not quite true, as Gold/Silver (and Crystal?) let you send pokemon back to Red/Blue/Yellow as long as they were in those games and didn't have any of the new moves; I know this because I used to move my Pikachu from Yellow into Gold specifically to evolve him into Raichu. I totally agree with...
Same here. I usually pick the water starters, but I might skip it this time just because it looks like a trained seal that escaped from a circus. I'd like to see if it gets better as it evolves...
Gotta say, I'm surprised I'm the first one to mention something from this game. Say what you will about the game itself, but Chrono Cross's soundtrack is one of the best in gaming. All hail Mitsuda!
As much as I used to enjoy it, I really do think it's time to end. Like others have said already, the show wasn't nearly as fun or enjoyable after Tory, Grant, and Kari left. It feels like a zombie show, now; all the fun's gone.
