Poll: RPGs; Do you prefer Perfection or an Authentic Experience?

At the risk of blowing the mind of anyone reading this - it is a game. Doing it over and over until it's perfect seems ... like work. Usually I play through the game however I want, and if I like it enough, I may play it over and get "everything".

    Texting Spelling and Punctuation

amazing, practically every one who responded to this thread said they are careful and use correct spelling and punctuation. I guess that says something about what kind of people come on this site. certainly those I text to have no such compunction.

Why All the Hate on Naruto?

same that is wrong with most anime-from-manga - its waaaaaaaaaaaay too drawn out. generally 1 entire episode dedicated to a fraction of a volume? please. naruto does it to such an extent that its like i'm watching paint dry. the manga is, however, great.

    Violent women.

iris, you ask what do i prefer a women to be like? i prefer women to be themselves. pretense is ugly and boring and stale. are women who are hot-headed "scary"? hardly. why do men seem to need and expect passive women? probably for various reasons - maybe they don't want to be eclipsed by...

    Used Games v. Piracy

There's nothing wrong with buying used. Buying used games is just as OK as buying used books. Buying used books is fine because when you buy something, you become the owner of that thing and so can do what you will with it.

    Why do you dislike people?

from your post i can infer that you have never been hurt. only such a one can claim "never to hold a grudge". as for me, generally i dislike people because they are prejudiced, impolite, lacking courtesy, conceited, hurt others, or arrogant (or all of the above). Since 99.9999% of humanity fall...

Things that instantly kill your interest in a game

I wouldn't know because like the title of the topic says, as soon as I saw that projectile-loss-of-meal worthy start, I lost interest and stopped playing about 1 hour in.

Things that instantly kill your interest in a game

this is an interesting question. For me its if the story is black and white. the villains are "dark shadowy creatures" and the good are "shining white knights". Makes me want to eat a gerbil, ffs. example: Nier.

Is Resonance of Fate a hard game?

played it for a few hours. basically it is a grind-tastic game. if you're into that sort of stuff, it might be for you. otherwise, i would recommend staying away from it.

Poll: Philosophy: Important or a Waste of Time?

My goodness my friend. I guess since your post seemed honest, I'll take it from the top. 1. "proven false by modern science". Science has never proven anything. I defy you to name something science has "proved". I can do so without fear, because I already know that if you try, you will fail...

You Don't Exist if You're Not on a Social Network

Not only do I think that the statement is right to first order, I think it will continue to be right for some time to come. Arguing otherwise is like putting your finger in your eye, eating a cupcake, and claiming that the world is a diademed tiger on the back of a giant moose.
