Journey just became my favourite game full stop, never mind of this year. I spent so much time with my companion that when I eventually lost my way and we got separated, never to see each other again, I felt genuine sadness. Such a beautiful experience.
I wish we were getting this in November in the UK. It's hard to get excited about a possible "Spring 2013" window after the massive delays with P4A. It's a good thing I have loads to catch up on on Vita, and Assassin's Creed Liberation should help kill the time until it arrives.
I'm so excited for this game. It's just a shame it seems so far away. Between this, Persona 4 Golden and Gravity Rush (plus potential sequels) the Vita is turning out pretty great for Japanese games.
I love MGS2. Everything people hate about it is so deliberate that I can't help but love it. It takes a step back to insult everyone who looks up to Solid Snake as a hero, rips apart everything that was expected from it based on experience with MGS1, and goes so far overboard on the mental story...
So glad the response to this has been as positive as I'd hoped, it certainly had potential to go wrong. Now I wait patiently for the game to be released in Europe...
It could be an interesting indicator of tone that they'd think of Ben Affleck. Gone Baby Gone is a visually striking, fantastic film but it certainly isn't what I'd associate with a superhero team up movie. I figured they'd pitch Justice League a bit lighter in tone than Nolan's Batman, but...
Yeah I meant 4 and Peace Walker together wrapped everything up. 4 closed off all the characters stories, while Peace Walker showed the transformation of Naked Snake into Big Boss, leader of Outer Heaven. I don't think there's anything else that needs to be told. The only other thing that hasn't...
Oh of course. While I do hope they have the guts to legitimately kill him off, I know that Metal Gear characters staying dead is about as likely as Kojima actually managing to leave the series alone for good. At least Snake returning to the battlefield makes sense though I suppose.
Which part? It's been a while since I've read it all. Anything that can make MGS5 more appealing sounds interesting, as I'm currently of the mind that 4 and Peace Walker wrapped everything up nicely.
I actually love MGS2. It's very clever in what it does, which is basically trolling. It uses the expectations of fans and turns them on their heads, making you want one thing and giving you another. Most obviously "I wanna be a badass soldier like Snake!" being met with Raiden, someone who ends...
It's actually not surprising that Kojima thinks the right way to make games is to do it without heavy handed cutscenes. After all, both MGS2 and 4 - the two most notorious games in the series for cutscenes - were his attempts to kill the series. MGS2 is effectively one huge experiment designed...
I played Crash Bandicoot on a Sony tablet recently and by played I mean I jumped into the very first pit and had difficulty landing on top of a crate because touch controls make it so much harder to do the smallest things. Unless it's a game like Infinity Blade, built for touch controls, I just...
After the reviews of the Sonic Adventure PSN/XBLA release, I can understand why these games aren't that great. A lot is down right bad, but god damn I love these games. Can't wait to have Sonic Adventure 2 on my PS3. What I really want is a huge Sonic Vita collection, since there's no Sonic...
