I think I'm another one who doesn't understand what this thread is about. Some point in life up to which the world seemed great? I don't think I had any opinion on that when I was little. That seems kinda abstract.

I want to go to the mall and see couples banging on public benches and nobody batting an eye. I may be alone in this.

I've always been single. Meh. But I'm starting to get up there in age... my younger siblings each have a kid, are married... It's weird to not know what it means to be in love.

I'll be weird in no order 1. Final Fantasy Legend 1 or 2 (GB) 2. Super Mario Bros 2 (NES) 3. LA Rush (Xbox) 4. Midnight Club 2 (Xbox) 5. GTA San Andreas (Xbox) Honorable mentions: Burnout 1, Defender, Robotron, Ultima (NES), Faxanadu, Crystalis

Silent Hill 2 and LA Rush (Xbox) Around $5 each I think. LA Rush has mechanics that eventually drove me to cheating, but I liked the driving in it. I see it as a spiritual sequel to Burnout 1

It can be a terrific game and still be disappointing. (Not saying I would rate it as high as "terrific.") Why? What would that explain?

If I had known that GTA4 was going to be disappointing (not saying I hate it... I played it some today actually) I wouldn't have bought a current gen console at all. (Saints Row 2 was good but not enough to buy a console for) I was surprised to find Midnight Club LA kinda boring... I think...
