My parents just asked my today what I'd like as a present for my 18th Birthday. Something of emotional value as oppossed to material value. I'm stumped at this and would like some of your ideas to get my brain working.

I should have said to those above. When I said Emotional as oppossed to Material, I didnt mean something free, I just meant something that I'll be able to look back on in those distant and 'scary' years and think back to the time I was 18 and free as a bird.

These are all great idea's guys (and girls) but the reason they asked is because my parents are... money conscious and dont want to buy me something that I wont like. Bit of an odd view but I hope you can appreciate it.

To OP, maybe ask them to take you on a trip somewhere you've always wanted to go, or even just somewhere that means something to you. Have a nice day with your family and make some memories. Maybe go to a strip club.
