Had a meal with friends and family.

Had a 300ft bungee jump on the weekend after!

Edit: 21st however was a massive night out and a sky dive

I forgot my 18th, I don't make a big deal about birthdays...

...Then my friends threw a surprise mini-party. Probably the first time someone's been surprised about their own birthday.

I went to the 'Paganfest' Folk-Metal festival and had a house party with a dozen good mates.

For my 18th birthday party (I'm 14), I'm going to nuke some small insignificant country. Either that, or I will just get stoned.
If you need a nuke, you know who to call, right?

Also, for mine, I just had my two good friends over, we played 360 until it was 5am, then passed. the. hell. out. I hate big parties.

Whenever I have a birthday nowadays I don't tell anyone. Not only do I dislike the excess attention and treatment (not to mention that fucking song), it also serves a a massive reminder of how finite my life is, and how much I have yet to do. I find birthdays more stressful than anything. That said, I spent my 18th... shit I don't really remember what I did. I think it was pretty much just a normal day.
When I say I don't remember, it's not what you're thinking.

Go out with a bunch of friends, take way too many mind altering substances and pass out in a skip with no clothes on.

But enough about Fridays, ho ho ho.

when I turned 18 I was in the middle of a depression, my dad phoned me for maybe 1 minute and he was the only one.
I didnt get any visitors except my mother's BF. and since he is an alcoholic I wasnt allowed to go waste myself either.

Nothing special. Never was big on birthday parties, neither others' nor my own.
I really love New Year's Eve, though.
Them pagans know how to throw a party.

I did absolutely nothing. It felt like just any other weekday. I mean, I had to register for the draf-...er, sorry, mandatory civil service. But besides that, nothing. It's not a big deal for me.

I do believe me and my friend got incredibly high that weekend, though.

I'm only 14 but I guess I could preoder or something.

Anyway, yeah. I hate big parties too. I've only ever had 2 or 3 friends round at once.

Well, my 18th was just 10 days ago and it was terrible. Matter of fact, I just wanted to skip the day. I ate chinese takeout, got an iTunes gift card when I don't use iTunes, and had a mental breakdown. Then again, my birthdays have been getting worse as the years go by.

for my 18th my friends and i had planned on going to a strip club, then going out to a bar and getting smashed. however, when i got to my friends house where the designated driver was going to take us all to the strip club, he decided he wasn't going to be the designated driver. so we all just hitched a ride with my friend's sister's friend to some shithole dance club for like four hours, full of greasy, sweaty assholes, selling beers that cost like three times more than anyone was expecting.

You'd better preorder. I've got plenty of customers lined up for the next few years. You do want to celebrate with a bang, right?
All I require is for you to list the small country you plan to nuke. There may be some crossover between clients, and that just won't do.

I'm torn between Luxemburg and one of those weird former USSR countries. Since you hold the nukes, I'll let you decide.

Yeah, I can see how one led to the other.
I hate iTunes, too.
Hope you're better now.

Had a few good friends around, and... did not get drunk, how'd ya like that for a change?
Personally, I don't really drink... I'm 20, and my largest intake of alcohol ever was a glass of wine on May 9th this year!

I don't get what's so appealing about getting drunk.. Besides... I already act semi-drunk, so I don't need a complete memory blockage on top of that!

Nope, but at least the birthday's over. Kinda wondering whether I'll make it to 21, seeing as how my milestone birthdays (16, 18) so far have been shatteringly terrible.

Actually, it'll get easier once you're more independent.
I was quite the negative and depressed kind of guy for a while, too, but nowadays I'd consider myself lightly optimistic most of the time.
Things always work out, just hold on and think of a brighter tomorrow.
