New Survey Says Geeks Make the Best Lovers

According to a survey from a specialist PlayStation 3 site [http://www.ps3pricecompare.co.uk/index.php], four out of five geeks placed their partner's wishes above their own.

This particular study was performed by the same website that released the earlier "Games are better than Sex" [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.104777?page=1] survey, so we already know some of the participants involved have other things on their mind.

Of the 2,084 Brits involved, (almost half were female) the main question asked was: "During sex, do you consider your partner's sexual needs above your own?"

At this the "geeks" (read: IT workers) scored a massive 82%, double the score of fitness workers.

The survey wasn't exactly scientific, however. Given the audience likely to peruse a PS3-specific site, it's fair to assume the respondents skewed more toward the "geek" end of the spectrum. In an even more damning blow for the survey, only people in a stable relationship could vote.

This sort of leaves it as four out of five British PS3 owners that have sex and work in the IT industry are more interested in getting their partner excited than their own stimulation. That may explain comments from the earlier survey such as "partner being hard to please" though.

It's like something I heard in Revenge of the Nerds: "Jocks only think about sports. Nerds only think about sex."

Information Technology, I think. It's, in the only terms I can possibly convey, a dude who fixes computers. Graham Linehan can explain it better >> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_IT_Crowd

This remains true as long as the geeks aren't 'getting any.' Once they start getting lucky on a regular basis, they'll become the same selfish lovers that most everyone else is.

Heck I knew that already. Geeks are the only interesting ones to talk to as well... they tend to actually pay attention to news, culture, gaming, internet, etc. Yay geeks!

For female players, its all that joystick practice they get. For guys, its knowing how to press the right buttons at the right time.

SEE YAHTZEE, QUICK TIMES HAVE THEIR ADVANTAGE :p Just not in game.

Anyway the survey in fact may show that geeks are worse lovers, since they are so insecure about their lovemaking techniques they try to please their partner at all costs.
Aaaaaaand that's my love life in a nutshell. G'night, folks!

IT is, it stands for commitment. It stands for audacity. It stands for courage in the face of.

Cookie to whoever gets the reference.
I'm pretty sure it's IT Crowd, therefore I lay claim to your cookie, good sir!
*thanks her god, Graham Linehan*

Also, I thought it actually meant one man whose idea of an adult night out is Lazer Quest followed by pornography and another who collects wires?
