4gb Patch For Aliens: Colonial Marines Improves AI, Graphics

People are going to still give Gearbox shit regardless of what they do. But I'm gonna at least come out and say good on em for coming back and trying to improve their game. Granted that doesn't forgive the quality of the game when it shipped. But they are trying to do some good and improve the game, and in the end they will get nothing but shit for it.

So do they plan on releasing patches for the console versions or are they just leaving them alone?

I might actually play this again if they bother fixing the console versions, but I wouldn't pay for it like DLC, smart move on their part making it a free patch. Last thing they needed was more fuel for the fire.

You could not be more wrong. Aliens vs Predator (1999) and Aliens Versus Predator 2 (2001) for the PC were amazing games

I've played both many times, and I've yet to wrap my head around how awful it is to fight aliens in AvP2, as an alien OR a marine. Only the alien campaigns are consistently fun. Marine is good in '99. At best half of Predator is worth playing in either.

Actually, I'm wondering if the multiplayer is any good now. It might very well be the only thing that can salvage it.

I'm glad their trying, but I was hoping for more of a dead space like atmosphere and it just isn't.
