During a Comic Con panel in San Diego, Joss Whedon announced that he will be directing the new The Avengers movie. How do you feel about that?

You seriously included an 'It's Awful' option? I think most people here are probably going to say it's great. Hell, it's Joss Whedon! Which means it's probably going to be pretty damn excellent, as long as Fox don't intefere and get involved in any way whatsoever...

Whedon's track record for movies is excellent. I absolutely loooooved Serenity, so yes, I am really looking forward to this.

I wasn't planning on watching it. Until I heard Whedon was directing it. I may just have to, now.

Especially in regards to Joss Whedon. With a pedigree like he has I can expect good things, but being a rational man that knows even the greatest can slip up and fall off of that mountain they're climbing as they plummet to their doom screaming a horrible scream you never forget and will forever haunt your nightmares... I shall take the tactic known as "Wait and See" as I wait and see.

So yes, I could care less considering I have enjoyed his past work.

BUT! While you're all here, what is it with the American saying "I could care less". It means you COULD care less.
I get things such as "Pants" instead of "Trousers", but I really don't get the "I could care less".
