this is a news clip i found to be very disturbing, 3 8th grade girls strip a 5th grade boy in day light in public video taping it. as of now it seems there not getting any charges press on them. i find this to be absolutely disturbing, if it was 3 8th grade boys and a 11 year old girl. they would be in the slammer with sex offender label in no time. your thoughts on this.

edit

the /b thread were i got this from has bin 404'ed. in the thread there addresses pics and phone numbers. at this point its safe to say anon is having a field day.

well just from the video you provided (I didn't do any more research) it sounds like it was the mother's decision not to press charges, which you could decide to do in almost any case like this. still, the story is pretty crazy and unsettling.

Yes its a sad state of affairs of how gender biased we are. Because yes if it was 3 13 year old boys stripping an 11 year old girl in the US we would try to have them tried as adults. But because its the other way around, The parent doesnt want to press charges.

Honestly I can understand the parent though.. If my 11 year old son was screaming like a girl from having older girls trying to strip him.. I would be so ashamed I wouldnt want to have to go through court proceedings either.

They'll get out of it by saying it was harmless fun.

Besides, Charges arent being pressed (god knows why, I'd charge all three of them and their families) so nothing really will come out of this if the parents of the victim decide not to do anything.

... eh, at least its happening older, and not younger.

i found the video on /b/ http://boards.4chan.org/b/res/332326480#332332606 and it seems /b/ is getting upset about it.

as said in the /b/. it doesn't matter if the mom wants to or not, da still can, i and hope they do. those girls are violent sexual assaulters who deserve to face the full extent of the law.

And people wonder why most girls turn into total bitches buy year 10. Whoever thought girls were less harmful than guys obviously hasn't been to high school before.

In before "girls will be girls" or "it was just some harmless fooling around" or "but if you persecute them their lives will be ruined!". To the last one, I ask; the boy's isn't? I can't imagine him wanting to show his face in school if the video goes viral.

I'm all for an eye for an eye in situations like this. The same thing should be done to them; see how they like it.

So you think it is shameful that the boy who was stripped and humiliated in a public place while being videotaped didn't approve of the situation?

What kind of reasoning is that?

After watching the video...did I hear the words "a bit too far" No no no, a bit too far is if you're pointing and laughing at a friend and you accidentally spit on them.

This is far past a bit. This is downright cruel and horrible.

To an extent I understand the Mom wanting the girls parents to discipline the girls instead of the law, but come on...what do you think is actually gonna happen to those girls?

At most they're gonna get sent to their room where their cell phone, tv and computer is, and within 30 seconds they're gonna be posting "omg, so im lyk grounded for something stupid. My parents suck" on Facebook and a bunch of their bitchy little friends are gonna click Like and be like "Inorite!? Why would they ground you for THAT!?" and they're gonna grow up acting like this.

...We need another story like when the internet stood up for that girl who liked star wars. Something to lift spirits right about now.

As I said in the other thread, I can't believe they actually showed the footage (albeit it censored) on the news. Would they do they same if it was three boys doing it to a girl?

The whole thing is disgusting and I hope they get suitably punished for it, but alas it's probably not going to be the case.

Double standards are a beautiful thing... I'd hate to be the boys father though.

"Dad, girls caught me and stripped me down naked!"

There is nothing to be ashamed about there, 3 girls who were each 3 years older than him stripper him and had him pinned, at one point with a knee on his throat.

Charges should be pressed. No matter who the assaulter is, or whomever the victim is, this type of situation should not go unpunished.

This shouldn't even be an issue of "doubled standards". The fact that the mother chose to take what I'm sure she felt was the "high road" is, in my opinion, still the wrong decision.

I don't care if its women attacking men, or men attacking women. This is harassment, plain and simple.

Get angry that this even happens in the first place, not over who the attacker or victim was.

I find this to be a bit fucked up. It pisses me off that they aren't even getting charged for this.
