Basically: Mirror's Edge but this time you can actually see your feet and judge the jumps!

Settle down children, this could get mildly elaborate. *clears throat*

A 3rd person sandbox game (a la GTA) set in OTT Dickensian London, where you play some kind of flamboyant, moustachioed detective - tracking down a string of increasingly mysterious occurences, culminating in the revelation that you are in fact a sort of "Mr.Hyde" figure, causing a dual storyline following the violent cowboy/vigilante justice of "Mr.Hyde" coupled with the By-the-book antics of the detective struggling to keep his alter ego under check. And get this - the big boss fight could be against YOURSELF!!!

Yeah, this wasn't one sentence long (I got a bit carried away) but I think my verbal diarrhoea is warranted by the awesomeness of this idea. Also, I will willingly accept any similarities drawn between this story, and that of the FX tv series "DEXTER"

I might give the most interesting/feasible game idea here a shot once I finish my current game.
Some of the ideas here aren't half bad, too bad we're limited to the one sentence so they aren't fleshed out.

My dream:
Zombie apocalypse world in a massive, randomly generated, world where you try to survive, explore and find other people.

Been on my mind for a while. I've been trying to work out how to make one too...
It might even make a good MMO. I think a realistic zombie apocalypse MMO is one of the few MMOs which truly makes sense.
A bunch of unorganized/semi-organized asshats, with the occasional nice guys and clueless noobs hanging on for dear life. Also there are the lone wolves.
