All the fucking time in, say, any FPS Campaign where you can be 1-shotted, EVEN IF there's only one possible occurrence that may happen.

You can take Flashpoint; Dragon Rising for instance. In that game, you can, by any weapon, at any distance, at any time, be 1 shotted as a bullet flies through the air and hits you on the head. Otherwise, they just miss you 80% of the time. The other 20% it's either your head, and/or your limbs.

So, you run, run, run some more, run, shoot some asshole, repeat. Than, after 25 min, and you're almost seeing the end of the chapter, you're insta-killed. By a simple shot.

... Than you've got to re-do the whole thing all over again.

by the last enemy in the area, that you just didnt notice... that happened to me quite a bit during that game

BUT ive got something even worse. i got to the second last level of Dragon Rising, and it glitched. no matter how many times i start the checkpoint over, i complete this certain objective and the game refuses to progress.

therefore, i will never beat that game. hows that for a "fuck you"?

Dragon time in Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night. Jesus christ, how are you supposed to dodge ultra-powered out-of-nowhere attacks with Dragon Time if they come out of nowhere and your Dragon Time meter moves at the speed of a continental plate? This game was the first piece of media I truly hated.

And when Golden Hammers, Dragoon parts, fans and other over-powered items spawn RIGHT NEXT TO YOUR OPPONENT in Super Smash Bros Brawl! Really frustrating in Classic and All-Star Mode.

...You're doing it wrong. You know why you got the Gun just before that mission? To use it ON that mission.

That's not the mission I mean...I mean the one in florence.

I did it eventually but it just seemed really hard compared to the other missions.

I really don't remember, and I just finished completely replaying ACII.

Bonfire of the Vanities is one of the two DLC packs, the other being Battle of Forli.

They must have added it to the base game then because I havent bought anything online. :/

During boss battles in Prototype especially that last one. Super hard boss unending number of random mooks that spawn to shot both of you he has an insta-kill move he can use at a moment's notice, he has tons of health, his attacks take big chunks of health and the game throws in a timer for good measure. Who ever designed that battle needs to be slapped upside the head. (not to mention that near the end of the game there are some very cheap and annoying tactics that basically make it impossible to get around due to way too many detectors and strong enemies hanging around).

Playing Alone in the Dark, (decent game thankfully I rented it) and I'm almost at the end when the game forces me to destroy these trees to gain their power. I needed like 600 points and I had 200 (This was a long time ago played it when it came out can't remember all the details). I realized the game wanted to fuck me over. So I stopped playing from there, and I still have no clue what he ending was and I sorta liked the story. Sadly I wont ever know, though I could go on youtube.
