Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. ARRGH!

I love the game, but there's that one Leonardo mission where you're going for the tank, and I CANNOT get past the first stealth section. I get past all the guards, and I can be practically on the back of my target, and it will desynchronize me because I 'lost sight of target'.

WTF?!?!? *bites into controller*

I swear that game is laughing at me... =S I've done everything else, even the obnoxious hangliding section, but that one defeats me. So I've never had access to the parachute...

Hmm...it really sounds from the above like I hate the game...nothing could be further from the truth, honestly, it's just that one section...

All the fucking time in, say, any FPS Campaign where you can be 1-shotted, EVEN IF there's only one possible occurrence that may happen.

You can take Flashpoint; Dragon Rising for instance. In that game, you can, by any weapon, at any distance, at any time, be 1 shotted as a bullet flies through the air and hits you on the head. Otherwise, they just miss you 80% of the time. The other 20% it's either your head, and/or your limbs.

So, you run, run, run some more, run, shoot some asshole, repeat. Than, after 25 min, and you're almost seeing the end of the chapter, you're insta-killed. By a simple shot.

... Than you've got to re-do the whole thing all over again.

I'm going to assume that you've never played a flashpoint game before.
That's kind of the point; the hyper-realism stuff.

I agree with you; that game does fuck you over alot, but then again, it's not a shooter - it's a war simulator, and war is pretty much just a big middle finger to anybody involved in it.

PS: That can't happen in ANY FPS - just flashpoint, due to the realism aspect. Fuck, even in COD the snipers in single player on veteran are a 2-hit kill so you have a chance to see it coming.

Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, torture sequence. I cannot physically tap triangle that quickly, although I can beat the bosses solo no problem, because I don't have great twitch muscles in my arm, Kojima just said, fuck you, you can't play the rest of the game!

I eventually had to get a friend to do it, because I was not able to after a couple dozen tries.

Why that kind of pointless button mashing is still allowed in games is beyond me.

Ok I've got a really good one. One that actually made me pause the game, sit there with my mouth open for a sec then yell "FUCK YOU TOO THEN!".
Red Dead Redemption. I was just messing around hunting things when I see/hear a bullet wizz by my ear so I turn around and start aiming at the dickbag on a horse running right at me pointing his rifle in my direction. Just as I pull the trigger I notice the coyote the guy was chasing run through my horse's legs. Dick move game.
Then soon after dealing with the aftermath of that I was riding around looking for someone to help to make up for the dude I shot in the face when I see someone being chased by coyotes. I make quick work of them and stop my horse by the guy. He starts walking slowly towards me so (me being new to the game still) I figured he was going to thank me so I get off my horse to talk. Right when he's up to me he jumps on my horse like it's his and starts riding away. So I was all like "fuck that!" and pulled him off. Doing this made him accuse me of stealing his horse and start shooting me. So yeah. He died painfully and I accepted that the game wasn't going to let me be good.

TLDR I don't bother trying to be a good guy in games anymore.

STALKER Call of Pripyat is unplayably laggy at every graphics settings. This on a laptop that runs Arma 2 without total embarrassment. I's say that's a pretty big 'fuck you.'

Huh, quite the opposite my friend, my ArMA 2 is laggy and my Call Of Pripyat is actually running very well.

my game is demon souls, the game says f-you when you are walking down a side of a castle and then I am encountered with a hoarde of skellies, to make matter worse they were shooting arrows behind my, guess what it was a box full of boulders coming right at me, I ran and ran but I got squished like my toothpaste tube.

High damage projectile attacks in a game that lacks projectile attacks? Yup. Teleport attacks? Damn right. Stun attacks? You bet your ass. Health-stealing moves? Oh yeah. Wrap it all up in a smelly, two faced, dirty, fungus-infested rug, and you've got Jinpachi Mishima.

Civ IV- (I was playing on f*cking warlord ('easy') difficulty). Maybe 35 turns in (which is nothing), I had 2 cities and 3 units (2 warriors and a scout) and I get a message-- "a barbarian horde is approaching". 5 barbarian spearmen spawn maybe 6 tiles from my capital. Screw you, game.

ha protip: expand fast and early, its a little risky, but believe me it is needed long run to be worth anything, expand all the way up until you have no left to expand with, you might think its silly to have so many small cities, but if you give them decent room to grow you end up having 50 cities like me and are chugging out armies by the truckload each turn to eradicate the enemy.

Playing the vineyard mission in Hitman: Blood Money. Your target is standing on this balcony, and you sneak right up behind him, congratulating yourself on your dastardly plan to cleanly strangle him and dump his body in the river below . . .

. . . and then he hits the dock you didn't realize was there.

Can't say it angered me, though. I actually thought it was pretty hilarious and brilliant. Creates a very tense sequence where you're muttering "oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit OH SHIT" as you're quickly making your way down there to dispose of his body before anybody stumbles onto it.

Stalker clear sky, got it the other day when the guide takes you to the second area its right in front of a military base which shoots on sight the machine gun kills you almost instantly as soon as you move and it was night so i could see where i was going but i couldnt seek past either. ragequit

I know that bit well..... Took me a few ttimes to just run like mad along the fence away from the base.
