An RPG in stone Age, if there is one, I would like to try it.
Or even earlier than that, a game where you're one of the monkey predecesors of the human race and have to fling from tree to tree searching for bananas and battling T-rexes. Awesome or what?
sounds like a badly modded Spiderman game.

Mythical China was done ONCE. Jade Empire.
Wasn't Silkroad Online also about... China?

How about the inside of a body?

Like you travel through bloodstreams and battle in the Stomach.

That or Neptune.
I believe there is an educational game that was developed to help kids fight cancer and diseases by the power of placebo. They controlled a white cell (which actually was a well-designed character) shooting bacteria and viruses.
Damn really?

Well I'm still sticking to Neptune. In-fact the rest of the Gas Giants as well.

Australia? Egyptian Mythology? Taco Bell? The surface of the Sun? 17th century France?

Any of those work?

I was going to say Egypt but I remember playing a game were the player was Donald duck and you had a plunger gun.

I can't think of one ... If I do, I shall edit this post and be triumphant! Muhaha.

Umm... Norse mythology?
Technically, Too Human did Norse mythology. It gave it a cyberpunk makeover, but it's the same idea.

i think prehistoric times haven't been covered alot, and if they have they have been awful.

how about playing as a dinosaur, and earlier mammal like reptile, or after the dinosaurs, but before modern man? having them 3 choices, then playing out the lifestyle of an animal you choose, having conflict and survivability all rolled into one game...i'd play it ^_^

Velociraptor here i come!

Also id like a GOOD Medabot game =)

There's been a ton of prehistoric games.

Bonk, Mac & Joe, Caveman Games, etc, etc.

I can't think of any for Australia though. Or the sun. lol

Too Human and Viking both covered it.

OT:... Um... Nowhere. I can't think of a thing.
Don't forget the Shin Megami Tensei games and of course, Loki, Titan Quest and probably some more.

Flight simulators exploited WW1 to hell and back. WWII is more about infantry, WWI is about "who's got biggest or fastest guns".
Really? iv seen plenty of WW2 ones but never a WW1 one i shall have to look them up. Wait.. are they any fun?

A game about the misadventures of a group of diabetic high-schoolers who are fighting to protect their towns world renowned home made jam industry from an evil corporation through both real life espionage and dream sequences that affect the real world. They enter the dream world by overdosing on sugar and falling into short comas. This is a real idea I've played with. I just wish I had the motivation to get it realized.

A game set entirely in the core of the sun. Or inside a black hole for that matter. Or the core of our planet. And about 99% of the planets and celestial bodies in space. (I know, lots of games are set in space but no bit of space is the same, that's like saying Texas is the same as North-Korea). And a game set inside the tooth of somebody as a microbe has probably not been done before. Nor a simulator in which you are a single-celled organism traveling through the body of.. well anything. Would be quite nice though, surfing on blood streams and using nerves as quick travel :p
