John Marston. Come on, you know he would be freaking amazing to hang out with.
Damn, I wanted to be the first guy to say this.
But him. John Marston. BAMF.

Garcia "F*cking" Hotspur, because having a friend that can save me from eternal, torturous damnation would be nice.

I don't know how long I'd be able to live with the constant phallic jokes though.

Let see, I could be friend with-

Travis Touchdown since he's into anime well moe (I'm not into that sort of thing) but he seen pretty cool.

Juri Han, she would be hard to be friend with but you certainly don't want to have her as an enemy! Beside having a friend who kick other arse for you can't be bad even if she mock you for being weak.

Kyle Hyde from Hotal Dusk. Seriously he is friggen cool! I can listen to his detective story all day if he can be bother to tell me some!

Deadpool, nuff said and again it's better to have him as your wacky friend than your enemy!

Professor Layton could tech me how to be a gentlemen or Pheonix Wright teach me a few things about the law.

Having a dragon be your best mate would be very handy....Everyone would be very polite to you. They would still be scared of him even though hes a nice dragon!
You haven't gotten the "Snow Hunter Wing" shout yet, have you? Don't worry, you'll see what it does.

Neighbour - Lulu and Wakka. They'd be pretty cool to hang with, and I'd be happy to babysit their kid whenever they felt like going out somewhere.

Gaming partner - Cortana, I'd love her to actually teach me chess properly (I play sometimes but I'm not very good).

Professional contacts - Phoenix Wright as my lawyer and Professor Layton as a private detctive. Just because they're simply too good at their jobs.

Best friend - Snow. He'd be a cool guy to go for a drink with, and I'd probably end up joining NORA anyway...

Girlfriend - April Ryan. Probably the best female character in modern gaming, even more so than the likes of Alyx Vance and such. Well rounded, likeable and quirky, artsy, and attractive - my ideal girl!

Now, if only all of those characters were real, and fit those psoitions in my life perfectly... :p

Alex Mercer. He can consume every other gaming character and that way, I'll be friends with EVERY character! No need to choose!

Jolee Bindo (KotoR) would be the best possible roommate. The man is completely unpredictable with just a dash of insanity to make sarcasm shine. Also, I never got tired of hearing his irrelevant stories and anti-youth speeches. Seems like he'd wake you up at 5:30 in the morning to tell you to mow the lawn. In wookiee speak.

Frog from Chrono Trigger, if not for his unwavering loyalty, than at least for his theme:

Chie Santonaka from Persona 4. Mostly 'cause she seems like she'd be fun to hang around and watch kung-fu movies with.

Yosuke, Kanji, and Chie have been claimed. Yukiko, MC, Rise, Teddie, and Naoto are still up. I'm actually surprised no one said Naoto yet.

It would actually be kinda fun to babysit Nanako. Maybe. Just bring Teddie (rest of the crew optional) and there are good times to be had.

Bahamut (FF series).

Why? Because he's a bad-ass dragon, that's why. (Though not very talkative... except for the FF X version, so I'll probably go with than one. Pity, I personally like the FF IX incarnation the best.)

Ayla would be a lot of fun at parties (points to avatar).

Tali from Mass Effect would also be awesome, but probably the most awesome choice is Varric from Dragon Age II.

Alma from F.E.A.R if she wouldn't kill me. But it would be creepy to have her as a friend. She would be wherever you are. Hmm how about Strelok from S.T.A.L.K.E.R call of pripyat? He seems like a pretty cool guy. Plus he can always tell you some pretty good stories of his time in the zone and he can hold his own against the unknown. So ya I guess I will go with Strelok.

hmm.. Gordon Freeman. He'd be smart enough to help me with my homework without complaining.

Oooh that's a tough one.

Going to cheat here, Goku from one of the DBZ Games. He seems like he'd be cool to hang out with, heheheh..
He'll definitely have time for you since he neglects his families.

Captain Price. Share some lager and have a buddy to back me up in any brawl. Also, I will always know where he is thanks to a big "Follow" tag over him.
