Hi, i would like to ask you people of The Escapist if you can suggest me a good anime, kinda in the style of Azumanga Daioh, Haruhi Suzumiya and Lucky Star.
Please don't post Dragon Ball or Hokuto No Ken(Fist of The North Star) since i've all ready seen that.

Based off what you said, you'd probably enjoy Toradora! It's one of my favorites. You also might wanna check out "Working!!".

Lucky Star is pretty similar to Azumanga, high school slice of life sort of thing.

Don't really watch that style of anime often. But I'll always recommend Hunter x hunter to anybody when I'm out of idea's.

If you like light sided Slice of Life, I suggest things a healthy regimen of Lucky Star, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Klannad, Kannagi, K-On! and Azumunga Daioh.

If you like your Slice of Life with a little more kick I suggest Toradora, Welcome to the NHK, Kodomo No Jikan (pedo alert though) and Full Metal Panic.

Hmmm.
I don't know many Slice of life like Azumanga, but for pure zany fun like Lucky Star, id suggest Best Student Council and Pani Poni Dash(This one is insane though).
I enjoyed both.

Though Action is more of my style.

EDIT:If you don't mind toxic levels of Moe then Working!! and K-On! are both simple "Cute girls doing Cute Things" Anime.

Fumoffu's the best of the FMPs for sliceoflife-ness, as it's the funny bits without any plot hindering its progress

I don't know much about slice-of-life anime (my knowledge of it begins and ends with Azumanga Daioh), but Samurai Champloo is definitely worth your time if you can stomach a little action. It's basically everything that's great about the swords-and-samurai genre, but with a hip-hop twist thrown in for a unique flavor. It never takes itself too seriously, and more often than not takes a turn toward outright comedy and parody.

Death Note might not be like the rest but In my opinion everyone should give it try if they watch anime.

So does your mum
Now that was just rude. Really. I slap your wrist for that.

OT: I'd recommend Toradora! I probably only liked it because there was enough of a cultural difference for me to ignore the fact that it was, basically, a teen drama, but I still rather enjoyed it.

I also liked Please Teacher! or Onegai Teacher! dependant on how you want to spell it. It made me laugh. Though I can't for the life of me remember anyone's name but Mizuho's...

EDIT: Just read P.I.Staker's recent post, and I'm just curious. Why are we feeding the troll?

Just out of Curiosity, what Anime have you seen?
Dude, it looks like shit. And the fans are all retarded... LOOK AT THIS!

Those are pretty bad reasons to not like Anime.
I can understand not liking the Style but.....Retarded fans?
The same can be said of ALL forms of Media and Entertainment.
Not every fan is like that kid.
Im not.
I know plenty of people who would rather lock themselves in a safe for a week then do that.
EDIT:In fact i think that vid is a Troll of how Otaku Act.
Though i do know a few who are like that...

Try watching Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai 7, Cowboy Bebop, and The Big O.

These just might change your perceptions of Anime.

Arguably kodomo no jikan wasn't peado because it was the kid coming onto the adult but whatever.
OT: Gintama is a funny as hell comedy, but there isn't an english language release so I hope you like subtitles.

I'm not too sure what Azumanga is but in the style of "Fist of the North Star" I'd have to recommend MD geist, its from the 80's and right up until The Matrix came out the fight scenes were unique and never let up in the inventive ways they turned out.

Its ultra gory though, thats the only problem, if you can stomach the copious amounts of blood I thoroughly recommend it.
