What makes a good username? One that you could "wear" proudly on a variety of different sites. Well, it should be memorable, short, concise. I hate numbers in a username, so just throw those out of the window immediately when thinking of a username. Also, one good way to memorability is using some phrases widely-known by many people, from movies, or books, or games. Names of some items or characters etc.
Also, how did you come up with your current one? Did it take a lot of thought to come up with, or did you just pick something randomly? You really want to know how I came up with it? Well, I had old usernames, but they all seemed kind of...I don't know, mildly immature and weird, and stuff. I relied more on symbols and different things to make it look cooler, instead of something, y'know, uhh...short and memorable, and clever, and stuff. But even though I've more recently just started clutching and smashing together two words that make up some queer word, the username "Fraught" I got by just going onto a Estonian-English dictionary, thinking of some cool word in my own language, and then I decided to keep doing it until I'd stumble upon a word that came up that I'd like.
And so I did.
So to answer your second question, no, I guess not. The word that netted me the username "Fraught" was the first word I searched for on the dictionary. And yeah, I guess you could say it was pretty random.
