I agree with Jumplion, that thing really freaked me out. Mind you that might be because I got a thing about eyes...*shudder*

It baffles me as to why anyone would do that. Some people have more money than sense.

i'm posting this more for what he has done to it afterwards. Kind of reminds me of an ancient one from the chthulu mythos. And as a piece of art dont view if you are a PS3 fanboy, you will only get upset.

What's messed up is:- this is a backwards compatible model. This means he's taking that away from someone that would actually wants it but has to make do with a later model and depending if it's first generation he's microwaving a PS2 as well. I can't see a point.

Couldn't he have just decorated it and have modded working PS3?

Then it wouldn't be art. Why just go "half-way" when you're making art. If that requires you to light stuff on fire, then you do it. That's the only way that you're going to get some true avant-garde microwaved console centerpieces.
