Watching Superbad made me realise how much of a depressed loner I am. Left me pretty depressed for a while after that.

"Cannibal Holocaust"
are both movies I have never watched but seen some pictures of and read the plot synopsis and as that alone was enough to make me feel sick and disgusted for the next week I am definitely not watching them.
Surprisingly although the Human Centipede had a similar effect on me I got over that and even ended up watching that and being almost unfazed by it.

For me it's probably Akira, I tries really hard to understand all the underlying themes and stuff, but there was a giant milk-leaking teddy bear and a trio of wrinkly blue children in the way

No movie has actually scared me, or even close to it, but as far as "messed up" in the head, the one that's done that the most was The End of Evangelion. If you thought the end of the series was enough rape for your mind, that movie takes it to a whole new level. Kept me up all night and made me bother a friend in the middle of the night to talk through it throughout the night despite my friend not knowing what in the hell I was talking about.

Most likely Full Monty...watched it when I was 5 and you can imagine the impact something like that would have on a childs mind (considering I had never heard of sex ever). Either that or Jumanji, Monopoly certainly looks a lot more terryfying if the steel dog is the same size as a boat...and then I had nightmares of the iron and boot ganging up on me...

Revolver with Jason Statham. That just headfucked me HARD. Like, even thinking about it makes my brain start to divide.

When I was a kid, I would have to say Watership Down and Where the Red Fern Grows.
As an adult, The Human Centipede (First Sequence). I have seen some seriously fucked up shit in my life but this movie made me physically ill. If you haven't seen it.... don't. But since I've said that I know you are running to find it now. Last I checked it was on instant watch on Netflix.
Another fucked up movie (in a different way) that I would recommend is Short Bus. Where else will you see 3 gay men in a three way singing The Star Spangled Banner into each other asses? Makes me proud to be an American
I guess I could also list Rocky Horror as another that has fucked me up. I saw it on a weekly basis at a young age (my parents were on cast in our theater) and maybe that is why now I find men in lingerie so damn sexy.

That crap was the first and only horror movie I'll ever watch. I went to watch it because supposedly Halle Berry was naked in it. She was, but you couldn't see anything. In one part of the movie I actually felt my heart stop beating and this huge fire overwhelm my body from fear.
Never again. I don't get how people can stand horror movies.

I never really watch horror films because I don't particularly like them. Which is weird because I LOVE horror games... but meh, I suppose the reason I don't like them is because I tried watching them when I was younger and had a horrible phobia of blood and gore. I guess the most traumatized I've ever been by a film was when I was watching Final Destination aged 6, and some guy blew up without warning. Makes me laugh now but it messed me up back then.
Pan's Labyrinth, there's this scene with suspected rebels and a bottle...you know what I'm talking about if you've seen the film. The eyes-in-palms monster and the rest I could anticipate but that random act of callous murder just came out of nowhere. It was pretty damn graphic too.
