In all seriousness though, this is actually a rather difficult question. I suppose it all comes down to what kind of person you are. You could take the easy option, and put a bullet through her head. Or, find a way to break in and find you'r way to her before shooting her with a tranquilizer. Although, the second one is very difficult...as i said, it depends on the kind of person you are. And, i guess i'd go with option one if i was left with no other choice.

Why can't I just shoot her hand off? Or her weapon? Or shoot her with a tranq-dart? Or shoot her and put the baby in an incubator, 7 months should be enough, almost.

Anyway, the kid's not born yet, it doesn't have any experiences, any memories. It's just a tiny biological machine with no individual mind of it's own. I wouldn't exactly like doing it, but I wouldn't say it's too much of a loss either way. I still wouldn't want to kill the woman though. Throw her in a work camp, make her work off her debt to society.

I don't quite understand the horror around killing a child. Most people seem to feel that a child, even an unborn one is worth far more than an adult. I find this funny as the same people will turn around and say all people are equal 10 seconds later. Killing is terrible, but killing a child is no worse than killing an adult, in my opinion.

I'd pull the trigger if she even made a move to kill a single one of the hostages.

For anyone calling limb shot, those are the hardest shots there are. That and if you hit the wrong spot in those limbs the nerves will react and squeeze the trigger. Round to the chest, easiest shot and there's still a chance to save the baby as long as the paramedics are ready to take her the instant she drops.

depends: how is she planing to kill them, could the gun be shot out of her hand?

if no and she has to die, aim for a head shot, there is a chance that the child could be ripped from its mother and at 7 months a premature birth is less dangerous (heard of children being born 5 months early with only ocular dysfunction)
