I agree! I laughed hysterically through 90% of the grudge. Can't get over how it was hyped to be so terrifying.Aby_Z said:

I recommend The Silence of the Lambs or Signs. Old but still good. (Not really that scary admittedly, but good movies)

I second this - it's slightly creepy in a weird sort of way that it passes for a horror movie, but is so humorous that your precious, sacred manhood can't be tarnished if you were to get "scared" (as if such a word existed in my brocabulary).Aby_Z said:

If she's into J-horror, consider Ju-on, or Ringu, or perhaps Suicide Circle. The last is my favorite

Scariest film I ever saw was The Blair Witch Project. That said, I was around 16 when I saw it, on my own, at night, in my room. With the lights off and curtains closed.
Anyhow, I highly recommend it, it's a great film and also extremely scary, especially near the end. The film was made more scary because the emotions shown by the 'actors' are completely real, the crew never warned the actors about most of the stuff they did to creep them out in the shooting of it, so the actors didn't know what scares were real and what had been faked by the film crew for the purposes of filming...
