I vote an Elsweyr with the Thanor booted out.

or at very least some DLC with a settlement where it's the Beast Races that call the shots, complete with a Khajiit Jarl (or Count or whatever).

Anyone who's played the other Elder Scrolls games could prove me wrong on this, I think the only points I've ever seen in the francise where a member of the Beast Races is in charge was in the Blackwood Company, Cheydinhal's Dark Brotherhood chapter, and one or 2 of the Mages Guild chapters in Oblivion.

I vote Akavir.
Akavir, Akavir, Akavir.
Mainly because there's just enough lore surrounding it to make it mysterious, but also possibilities to make it substantial. So much want for Akavir.

Elsweyr and Valenwood should go together; Previous ES games have not all dealt with just one region; They together make for a similar land mass to Cyrodiil and Skyrim; Thick ancient forests instead of plains and mountains; Two nearby islands ripe for expansion material.

Dude, V hasn't been out for a week yet!

And meh. Not an Elder Scrolls fan.
But isn't it too soon yet to be talking about the next one?
Happens every time, they're talking about Battlefield 4 aswell... Doesn't hurt to dream though, does it? Especially when our imaginations are all fired up from so many hours spent in the latest one.

I would like to see the entire Morrowind, including Vvardenfell. Morrowind was my first Elder Scrolls love, so it would be great to revisit it in upped graphics and a modernized system.
No matter where it is though, I am sure Bethesda will manage to make it a great game. Just keep the world design team from Skyrim. Oblivion was great, but the world was boring.
Your wish is granted...

They are something like 2/3rds done building the main land, and the graphical updates for the rest of the vanilla game bring the quality up to spec with Crysis in some areas. The characters are still kinda ugly, but look a lot better now.

I say, for Elder Scrolls 6, just give us the whole fucking world.

Oblivion had the best world because Cyrodiil is so centralized. You could pretty much visit each of the countries because the areas bordering Cyrodiil bleed out into it, so you have a swamp area, and a tundra area, and a rocky area, and so on and so forth.

Give us the whole pie, just call it Elder Scrolls 6, let us revisit all of the places we've already been, and then add on more, like Elsweyr and Hammerfall etc.

Can't fit it all on a DVD? the next ES game shouldn't be out until the next hardware anyway, when all platforms will be using multilayer Blu-ray discs, so that won't be much of an issue.

So we haven't all been keeping a tally of the prophecy? Skyrim is the final chapter. They can make more games but the "story" arch is done. There's a book I found (can't remember where, but I think it was Dragonsreach) that outlines it. There are five verses, much like there are five Elder Scrolls Games. Each one entails the main events of the respective game

I want more Vvardenfell, preferrably with the option to revisit Morrowind
Wasn't Vvardenfell destroyed? I think Red Mountain erupted after the Oblivion Crisis and made it unhabitable
I will admit I don't know, I'd love a source on this though.

It doesn't have to progress in time, it could be a prequel, there was plenty of lore for the place.

Something about Red Tower refers to Morrowind, White Tower refers to White Gold tower in Cyrodiil, and "the Sons of Skyrim spill their own blood" is part of the fifth one. I hope I can find that damned book and prove I'm not bullshitting.

BTW I'm not saying they won't make another game, I'm just saying the overarching prophecy is done. Too much money to let a series die. Case in point: Halo.
case in point, 3.4mil retail sales in 2 days when competing against MW3.

I think you mean.

that's just crazy, and you know it.. YOU ALL KNOW IT!

The whole world? That'll be small then. I mean it would be far to large of a scope to do such things in relative good time. Maybe when I'll be 36 it comes out, instead 3 years from now x3

I've always wanted to visit Elsweyr in one of the games. Hell, half of the country sounds like it's just a fallout wasteland while the other is covered in tropical jungles?

Definately Valenwood and Elsweyr! Seeing the Lore for the history and ethics of the Bosmer makes it sound enriguing. Lots of animals, and vast areas of forrest! I loved the South side of Cyrodil, running through the trees and coming across the lost settlements! It was a shame there wasn't actually much programmed down there! Although it was awesome that the Nights of Nine stronghold was there! I liked having my base of operations hidden in the trees like that!

I'd imagine though, looking at the map that they would combine the 2 areas to one game if they were to make it, as both provinces are smaller than the 2 most recent games!

Which ever one the Redguards come from.

I love the direction they've taken with making the Red Guard culture "Arabianesque". It would be fucking awesome to see what they could do with that.

My vote is for Akavir. Maybe it could be a not-medieval-Japan setting rather than a not-medieval-Europe setting?

Think about it: Intelligent monkey men, Naga-like snake people, and tiger-like cousins to the Khajiit. And, hell, since it could be taken as being "Japan", we could get a host of Japan's mythological stuff in addition to the standard Elder Scrolls affair. Maybe have human-form Kitsunes http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitsune (Albeit they'd probably have them inexplicably keep a fox tail and their ears; otherwise they'd just look like another Imperial rip off with different stats (I'm looking at you, Bretons!)? I suppose that they could also add in a "Nekomata" with essentially no grasp of lore, essentially making them this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat_girl (Albeit with matching hair colors (No difference in ear/tail and hair), and both genders). I don't see any other way they could make what is in lore a magical cat that is not very human a playable character without just having a new Khajiit. Agile, weak, stealthy, blade-users, perhaps? Kitsunes could have a powerful fire breath greater power.

Muskets, perhaps? They made them first in our[footnote]Yes, I know, that was in China, actually. But, in video games, http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AllAsiansAreAlike, so there's that. Besides the fact that it's a fantasy game.[/footnote] world; so why not, right?

Well, anyways, with all of my speculation on what they could/should add aside, I think they should do Akavir next. Besides, I buy PC, so everything above that I want (Ninjas, Nekomimi, Kitsunes, and maybe even ye olde muskets) could just be modded in, anyways. Yay for PCs!

Screw the territories, I say all of Tamriel!
I imagine that the new Radial quest system will fit quite nicely into a MMO style game. Tweak that with some D2/3 quality dungeon randomisation and item randomisation and we would have an amazing game.

Might be a tad far fetched but, an elder scrolls that takes place ALL ACROSS TAMRIEL would be brilliant.

It would be the best game ever, in my opinion.

How they would get around to making it and finishing it, I have no idea.

I have no idea. I like cold, snow and mountains, so Skyrim was pretty much the best location as far as I'm concerned. Akavir might be interesting, though.

Also, and I don't mean to derail your thread, could somebody explain the popularity of Khaijit to me? I don't see the appeal. Is it a furry thing?

DON'T YOU GUYS WANT LIKE
BRUTAL BULLSHIT
AND ASSASSINS EVERYWHERE
AND BARELY BEING ABLE TO SURVIVE
AND THE MOST
RUTHLESS
ENVIRONMENT
EVER?

Failing that, Summerset Isles and the other continents take my vote. Some non-Tamriel content would be nice. Akavir has weird new races like more reptiles and stuff, so that'd be nice, Atmora's a frozen uninhabitable shithole so that doesn't really work, never heard of Pyandonea and Yokuda's a bit small.
There are other continents but I can't be bothered looking them up right now. I'm bored.
.
If you're not argonian you won't be able to bleedin' BREATH in certain locations. That's why I didn't choose it.

Hammerfell would be cool. I like the Redguards. :>
My favorite area was covered with Skyrim though. Was complaining a while back about the lack of Norse inspired games. Kept myself clueless with Skyrim to releave me of some hype, so it was a welcome surprise!
