As the artile points out, this movie - like almost every movie made these days - is apparently based off a novel. Shame on you for thinking that Hollywood is creative enough to come up with a story like this all on its own, all they had to do was buy the movie rights from the author. Granted, a 4th grade child who dresses as Dracula every Halloween could have come up with this story on his own...but hey, what's that tell you about the creative thinkers in Hollywood?
