God I miss the old days of TechTV..

What was the name of that scrawny dude who used to host Call for Help before Leo did? He was always good for a laugh.

Duh! He's just there to make Morgan Webb more hot. And his voice is decent but not too respectable. He's the perfect wimpy companion for Morgan Webb. On his own, however, he stops looking like a tall little boy and becomes the strange man he really is.
Granted, Morgan will never be as hot as Olivia Munn.
I love Olivia soo much! She reminds me of my sister.

He's a guy doing his job, that's all there is to it. Especially when you consider that for many lesser games, he's just reading the opinions of the intern that played it for him.

That is wrong on quite a few levels.

I think they should just go back to the way they used to be-funny. Ever since the musical episode they've just started going downhill.
I'll be a tad off topic, but since Adam is technically half the show hosting Xplay cast, it will not hurt.

I could give a latter damn about Adam or people taking his television persona seriously (or jokingly, I can't tell with all the dancing back and forth that this thread contains on the matter). XPlay in itself has gone considerably downhill with the rest of the television station. I missed the old days when XPlay actually dedicated itself to reviewing games - since, you know, it was a game reviewing show. Now they review, what, three games a week? Now Xplay is much like a devolved format of Attack of the Show, and not even Yahtzee making an appearance every week is helping. I wish they would realize this and return to the old format... As well as remove all the disgusting or trivial shows no one in their right mind would want to watch on a game channel.

Adam Sessler? I love that guy!

But the problem is my stupid TV service cancelled that, and I haven't seen XPlay in umpteen YEARS! (About 3).

Thusly, I wouldn't be able to argue with you because of above reason. I also wouldn't be able to argue for or against GTAIV because I don't have a bloody PS3. (Whoa, that's like, the third time I've brought that up)

Another thing I noticed is that a lot of people keep saying that this or that just isn't good anymore after several seasons. I object to this. Maybe it's some sort of syndrome, because, for example, I watched seasons 4-6 of Family Guy first before trying out some seasons 1-3 (This was recent). I thought they were all hilarious, especially the newer ones, but apparently, a bunch of people on the xkcd forums thought the show went downhill after it was revived for season 4.

I mean, what the deuce?

actually it was after and before Leo, his name is Chris Pirillo, his 24 hour call for help a thon was great, especially when he started to go a bit wonky

the old techtv was great, had some really kick ass shows on it, g4 totally ruined the channel and put on way too much crap

funny part is i don't hear anyone saying "wow g4 is awesome" most ppl say "we miss the old techtv"

Sessler's just another critic who reviews something that for the past ten years or however long has just begun to get popular enough to where they can make a whole channel devoted almost entirely to video games. Some people even say Yahtzee's a terrible critic too. But my point is this, every critic has his or her own opinion about something and if its an opinion you find wrong and you feel totally opposite of theirs well then what's it matter to you?

Personally, I find Sessler amusing to watch. He may not always have the right opinion when it comes to reviews (like GTA4, I agree it wasn't a gaming revolution like Sessler said it was) but he's still a comic relief every once in a while.

Also, does anyone else find that Olivia Munn girl hot. I think she is. Her and that Layla girl too (love the accent). That's just my thought.

I like Sessler, hell, I like X-play. I haven't watched it in a long time, but back when I did it was pretty much the only review show with any balls.

I've been watching this guy for 3 years now, nothing wrong with him. Funny guy, and at least he gets his reviews right, unlike big time reviewers like IGN and gamespot who gets it wrong almost all the time.

I think he's funny. I wouldn't take a word he said seriously, even if he was a nuclear engineer giving me directions to disarm a nuclear warhead before it blew me to bits. But is being goofy enough to have a position like that on TV? Dunno.

By the way I also feel that G4 is going the way of MTV. Shouldn't be long now...

And while we're on the subject of G4 I think it's embarrassingly obvious how they exploit Olivia Munn's hotness as an excuss for a lack of writing or overall intelligence on Attack of the Show. Yeah it's funny but I find it hard to watch as I'm distracted by the tingly feeling I get in my head as my IQ drops.

I like Adam, but he is still playing his character from the old X-play. Probably because they needed somebody like Tommy Tallarico to counterbalance Morgan who is now the nice one.

To be honest, I used to really enjoy the show (especially Adam) before the great G4 crisis of 2002.

I blame the writers... or directors... or whoever decided to make the show so fucking lame.

Adam Sessler is quite an intelligent guy, he seems like an alright bloke and he knows his games. He totally rolled Jack Thompson on the various shows they've been on together, either making the old man change topics or just completely shutting him up for a few seconds. The character he plays on X-Play is just that, but I still enjoy the show even though it's no where near as good as it used to be. Why can't they bring back the Dating Kratos and Grabnar? I loved those guys.

he is funny, mind you not as funny now and he was never been the greatest reviewer; but he has just gone down hill (in exact proportion to x-play's crappyness has gone up)but in general he knows games and reveiws them 'fairly' accurately (even with the GTA 4 debacle)
