It's quite impressive, but so was 20Q. It's just a huge database with associated answers that becomes more sophisticated with use. Makes you smile non the less though. I'm going to play with it some more, I'll post if I manage to beat it.

Alright I checked it out, and was frankly amazed. I'm a huge halo fan and I though the expanded universe novels may be obscure enough to fool it. It succeeded at guessing fred, kurt, kelly, linda within two guesses, got Albert Einstein first try, but I finally defeated it using Ash: The 12 year old Spartan 3 graduate leader from ghosts of onyx . The three guesses it used were a) your own unique character [wrong] b) Fred-104 of Halo [wrong] amd c) Kurt-051 of Halo. Then he congratulated me on winning and I told him about the character Its not so hard

Gotta give it credit though, It took me five tries to win, so its about 80% accurate v.s. unimaginative users

She was in the short list of 'Is your character here?' that's given if you 'beat' him, though.

It sucks are getting the correct person from Rune Factory. It got one on the 3rd guess and didn't get the five others I tried, 3 were on the list at the end, one wasn't and one had special circumstances meaning she was "half" on the list.

I would try some more but it either guessed them or they were also on the list of possibles.

It would ask me if the character was from the Pokemon series, I would say yes, and then later it would ask me if the character was in a novel. I was like wtf?

He did get Wheatley first guess tho, which I would consider a bit more obscure.

That said, it's not that amazing. I've played those sorts of games on the internet before. It's just a simple process of elimination by asking obscure questions and cross-checking that data with it's databanks of pop culture stuff.
