I'm quite sure that she drank water. In fact, every murderer in the world drank water. Obvious connection, isn't there?
I was thinking the same thing, even if the person wasn't found "guilty" I wouldn't hire someone who apparently shot someone to death with a shot gun.Delock said:Why is that no one really points out in most of these cases that the person has a history of violence as the main point?
In fact: WHY DID YOU HIRE A PERSON WHO SHOT THEIR OWN BROTHER TO DEATH?!
I know right? My D&D group is comprised of IT professionals who all have families, houses of their own, etc. And me of course, a 26 year old recluse who would rather stay at home than go just about anywhere (because all my stuff is at home, and stuff is awesome), but I live in the attic, not the basement. Totally different!Journeythroughhell said:Stereotypical much, mate?Psychosocial said:It's not the game that's the problem, it's the people. No offence to all you Dungeons and Dragons players, but lots of the D&D players are basement dwellers with not that many friends aside from their fellow D&D players.
Same thing can be assumed about gamers, you know?
Right, that's what D20 rules are for!The DSM said:Wow they must have be good killing 3 members of staff requires rolling an 18+ on a D20.
Also Dungeons and Dragons involves bows, swords and magic; not shooting people.
Dungeons & Dragons is a collection of scenarios all using the D20 system and common themes. It's Pen & Paper, it's CRPG... Wouldn't be surprised if there was a LARP branch.DMonkey said:dungeons and dragons isn't a video game (well, there is a decent mmo for it).
Its a dice and pencil game that you play by..... no, nevermind.
Why would police seize dnd books? And who actually thinks it matters? The blame-game gets real petty sometimes. Sounds to me she is just bat shit nuts.
I'm absolutely sure it's not.Psychosocial said:Yeah, true, but D&D is a bit more "hardcore", if you know what I'm saying?Journeythroughhell said:Stereotypical much, mate?Psychosocial said:It's not the game that's the problem, it's the people. Is that sarcasm? Because I can't tell. No, really. I have a hell of a time picking up on sarcasm.Deofuta said:No,no, it was definintly the D and D, what's mental instability anyway? She went on a murder rampage because of severe mental instability, most likely. And I'm talking like serial killer type instability. Playing D&D has absolutely nothing to do with any of this. It's being used as an excuse to demonize role playing games just like Fox News blames all the evils in the universe on video games.
This is probably the best answer I will ever see.Jonci said:Killers play D&D =/= D&D makes you kill
