Gee I didn't realise that most modern HDTVs didn't have VGA inputs, and 360 controllers don't work on PC now?
Man... they have such a good point!
I used to have my PC hooked up to my big screen HDTV. Now that I have my own house, it has been put in it's own room where it will stay.
1. Playing some PC games on the big screen was nice, but using the computer for almost anything else was a bit of a pain in the ass. It's harder to read text on it. It's harder to get a mouse/keyboard setup that doesn't suck if you don't have a desk to work off of. It means getting up and walking across the room if you have to access the tower, router, modem, or anything else hooked to the TV.
2. And this is assuming that you live alone and never have to worry about somebody wanting to use the computer while somebody else wants to watch TV.
3. Bottom line: having your main computer attached to the TV isn't a solution for everybody. For a game that I don't feel I need the keyboard/mouse for, getting a 360 is just an all-around better way.
