OT: Been cheated on, decided in that moment that I was never going to cheat on someone because I knew how bad it felt.

Nah, I'd never cheat on a girl. I mean, I've never bothered to be in a relationship (and not for lack of trying; I've had a couple girls express interest in me in the past). I've simply never found anyone I wanted to hook up with.

I'd have to agree with the apparent consensus that the girl in the OP's story is an idiot. Someone needs to teach her about making generalizations when people are involved.
She probably has a statistical sample size of... I'm going to say three relationships with men. Because I feel like an analogy, that's like saying since three pixels found in an area are purple, the entire picture must be purple. It's absurd.

My obvious answer to the other question is: No, I've never been cheated on by anyone.

Seeing as this seems to be well established now, I propose a new question:

If your girlfriend/boyfriend/wife/husband/sex robot/other offered you a 'hall pass' IE; a chance to go sleep with someone else without her/him/it having a problem with it - would you take that chance or would you prefer not to?

No, because one of two things will happen.

1.) The person who gave you the hall pass will wind up not being alright with it, and the two of you will break up anyway.

2.) The person who gave you the hall pass will be alright with it, and you'll start to wonder why they are okay with it. You'll get suspicious, and start to believe they want to cheat on you. You'll discover they really have cheated on you (I allowed you to sleep with someone else, so you can't complain that I did the same), or you'll find out they didn't but you'll be so suspicious you'll wind up breaking up with them anyway.

Hey, I think she's doing them a favor. If you're gonna cheat, you're gonna cheat. It's just a matter of when and with who. Sooner the better, I think. Get that shit out of the way, break up and move on. I've never cheated or been cheated on (to my knowledge,) but I would think that it'd be best if it happened before I devoted years of my life/money to someone.

Look, it has a lot more to do with the type of men that you and your friends find attractive rather than men in general. That is to say: it is not all men that cheat, just the ones you and your friends date.

There are several possible reasons for this. Most likely -of course- is that men that do not cheat tend to have more stable relationships, for obvious reasons, and thus spend much less time single or otherwise looking for a partner. Also, there is the possibility that the men you and a large portions of your friends are attracted to are just the cheating type, as whether or not a person cheats is to a certain extent determined by what can be termed their "sexual personality." I do not know if sexual personality manifests through the standard personality, but I suspect it does. And if you constantly find yourself involved with these men, may I kindly suggest that you take a hard look at yourself and reassess what traits you desire from a partner.

Not that this applies to you, because you have your own reasons for not getting married that you may have expressively discussed with your girlfriend at great length.... but generally I consider marriage the sign of true commitment.

Generally speaking, in my eyes, a person who isn't married is fair game. granted, still kinda a dick move, but not as bad as say stealing someone away from their wife and kids, ya know?

So long as if all men cheat all women cheat too! Course since your proposition is false that makes the statement true so 'If all men cheat, the sky is red' is also a true statement. Anywho, this girl is dumb and incorrect and probably has some deep-seated relationship issues. It's unlikely she'll get help for that though as she is expressing the problem through sex with men in relationships. I think she's full of shit and only says that to justify the fact that she's a skank ***** who no man considers worth having an exclusive relationship with and only believe she's worth nothing but sex. Which is probably why she can't seem to get her own and stoops to going after everyone else's.
