You count only the wars where US has fought. There's a shitload of wars where US has been involved in ways like supporting one side with weapons and training.

Though I maybe wrong and there just is so many threads.

Actually, the last time America ofically went wo war was 1941. Vietnam, Korea, and the others were 'police actions' or 'military interests' and some other BS like that...

And alright I guess we could have won Vietnam at any time we felt like it, but chose not to.
Just like England and your War of Independence XD
I believe America won independents, although they didn?t exactly destroy thier opponent.
I thought they won "independence", and we were kicking you ungrateful guys out, so we won. :p
acually you won cause the french were supplying you with troops, weapons and funds. And once you were "free" france gifted you with the statue of liberty. So if anything France won the war for you cause they hate us so much, and we were at war at the same time.

oh and LOL at Vietnam

It's just how we do things here in BizzaroNation. Shoot a guy who's breaking into your house, and you're the one who gets sued.

It helps to picture lawyers and politicians in funny hats.

I do believe you missed the point- Ghost was saying Britain could have won the war of Independence, they just decided it wasn't worth it.

Do we really need ANOTHER thread about America? They never end well.

A 10 to 1 kill ratio is literally beating a country to shit. Not something I'm bragging about, but if you don't consider 10 to 1 "beaten to shit" than I can't help you.

Just pointing out: America is a continent, USA is a country.
No it's two continents, but we call the US America because lets face it, it's obviously the most important area in all of America.
Canada's better..
You can keep telling them that, but every one knows they?re pushovers, so no matter what they are always going to step aside for the arrogant Americans.

American: "Amrca?s the best cuntray in the werld."

Canadian: "Eh, I guess it is, eh."
meh, I guess you don't know about the Canadian war effort back in the day. Besides, why go into a war that doesn't have any relations with your country. Except for the recent "Let's go against the Taliban" mentality instaured by our current Prime minister. (Pro-Bush ****). We pretty much helped country in need with our blue helmets.

By the way,

American: "Amerca's the best cuntray in the werld".
Canadian: Why?
American: "We hav FwEEDOM"
Canadian: Almost every wealthy country has that..."
American: "ummmm...well at least, I'm not some stupid canuck"
Canadian: " Don't change the subject..".

I believe my statement was accurate, whether it exists within the "point" or not. O' yes, I boldified ?we? for a purpose.
In the context of the previous statement, to which you replied, it doesn't make an awful lot of sense. So why quote and reply to it? It does matter if the statement was accurate or not. Except it isn't all that accurate, but I'm trying to resist correcting people's spelling too much.
And fine, changed to they.

To Taxi Driver (Because I want to skip a quote chain): You never went to Canada, did you?
Man do I love it, when people talk about your country, even if they don't know anything about it...

(The next context is a conversation that happens quite alot in my daily life). (I'm not targeting someone, I'm just reciting recent events).

Ignorant: Aren't you gonna say eh, when you end your sentence.
Me: No...
Ignorant: I thought every Canadian said eh.
Me: Maybe if you educated yourself you wouldn't be such a twat.
Ignorant: That was uncalled for...
Me: I wish, but the fact you judged me with stereotypes, makes me think otherwise.

(The conclusion I wished for).

Ignorant: Wow, I guess, I shoudn't call people with false pretenses.
Me: Good, maybe you could convince your buddies
Ignorant: I shall do that, right away!

(The real conclusion)

Ignorant: You dumb fuck, wait till I come back with my friends
Me: (sigh) I look foward to your idiotic rant and proud feeling you got, because you have more idiots to back up your sophistical claims.

America gives aid to countries regardless of whether or not we had a war with them. We give aid if they have a hurricane or any other disaster but when America has a hurricane nobody helps us they just keep on hating us.

Wow, just to let you know, I was purposely stereotyping both Americans and Canadians, I thought it was rather obvious. Am I the only one who doesn't associate himself with a group of people simply because of the area I live in?
I wasn't stereotyping a group in particular. I just told a recent event in my life with idiots. You just made me remember that. Thank you, now I just remembered that a group of idiots are coming...(Joke). I do have that little patriotic sense in me. Sorry, if you felt it was personnal.

EDIT Note* Don't call us pushovers.

Because you start unnessesary military actions...like Afganistan and Iraq...
And dont say it was justified...it may was justified 7 years ago but now its just stupid.
And a terrorist attack is no need to invade a country...think about germany doing that...wed sit all over the world by now and would extend our army again<.<

I can understand for Iraq, but Afganistan? How many countries are fighting over there?

Bush attacked Iraq, because "he" thought they had nuclear weapons, even though they didn't find anything.

Yeah I'm sure that $500,000 you donated after the Sichuan earthquake in China went a long way to help the 68,636 dead, the 374,176 injured and the 18,222 listed as missing.

Oh and nobody helps you? The "hurricane" I assume your talking about is New Orleans, so this quote [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricane_katrina#International_response] might come as shock to you: "Over seventy countries pledged monetary donations or other assistance. Notably, Cuba and Venezuela (both hostile to US government themselves) were the first countries to offer assistance," yep you read that correct "(both hostile to US government themselves)". So even if those countries do "keep hating you" they seem to have no qualms helping out when the going gets tough [http://english.aljazeera.net/archive/2005/09/200841011261947655.html].

I'm not knocking the US, I'm just saying that basically all your claims were ill-researched or false, so please, if you want to know more, follow those links, they explain it better than I could.

In Review: Looking back that China thing is a bit of an unfair cheap shot, I'll try and find a way to re-word when I calm down.

Armatige Shanks is exactly right. Fidel Castro was the first person to offer aid, long before the bush government even knew a hurricane had hit. There's a great quote from him at the time "One american President must do something about this." If people who hate you are prepared to send in aid and relief before your own government, something is seriously wrong.

*sighs* sometimes I wonder about these kinds of threads. I'm British so I don't really know what wars you yankees played in but the one in Iraq I think is just stupid now...like one person said years ago I could forgive but still fighting now seems pointless.

Also to show the whole stereotypical thing like Taxi and the other person did...here is one I found.

Me: Hello and yes I'm British...my accent gave it away =.= *had done a voice clip on a IM
That person: OMG your not British you don't sound like 'em
Me: I'm from Lancashire...not London and I'm not a posh git so I won't sound like the ones your used too.
That person: Gawd your not British though you stupid American!
Me: And your the reason Americans wonder why other countries hate them so much

I could finish but it's all the same sadly.

What's on hand though I just wish all wars would stop >.<
