Umineko. I loved Higurashi, one of my favorite animes, but Umineko dissapointed.

On that same vein, I was slightly disappointed by Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai. Nothing to do with story or characters, it was overall enjoyable and interesting to watch, but the slowed down pace and lack of violence is very distracting, especially times where they'd have been graphic in the first season. Not so much a case of the series disappointing me, just that one aspect was confusingly absent.
I agree, but they redeemed themselves by explaining what the fuck was going on.

The second half of BLOOD+. That show was always weird and a little off but when
a young innocent character is raped by a demon thing for the sake of baby making
it was pushed into the realm of uncomfortable.

Deathnote was completely overrated and Soul Eater just shit itself inside out in the second season and don't get me started on the ending... 4 words: The Power of Friendship...<.<

Literally finished watching the last 4 episodes of E's Otherwise 20 minutes ago. It was quite disappointing. It had potential, but it failed in the delivery.

Also, Bleach.

Samurai Champloo, the first episode was absolutely amazing and certainly made me believe it would be just as wonderful as Cowboy Bebop. It almost immediately crashed landed after that though for me. All the mid episodes couldn't really seem to focus on anything. They seemed to want to have some overlaying story, trying to find the samurai that smells like sunflowers, but it kept getting side tracked. Made even worse by the fact that every episode was constantly switching back and forth between the three characters all doing something completely different.
It could have been fine having a few self contained episodes but the fact that their goal kept being brought up without seeming to really move towards it made it feel like the creators were just killing time until the end.
