By the way, to clarify, as I said a similar situation, but mine is the situation of a hermaphrodite whose hormone situation resulted in almost equal male and female characteristics. As in, no matter what I tell people, male or female, they don't believe it and I've been arrested for having a "stolen" drivers license on multiple occasions.

As men we have been conditioned to surpress all emotion and bottle it up inside until the stress makes our hearts explode.

We aren't allowed to be different. We aren't allowed to break the mold. Women always complain about gender stereotypes, but what about Men? We aren't even allowed to show emotion without being ostracized.

Just curious - are there any people in your life who know you for who you really are? Friends you are open with about your androgeny?
Mmm... my three or four guy friends are at least aware that there's some amount of androgyny. And I wouldn't be surprised if all my female friends are aware of it as well. That being said, I'm still not that open about it with them, but that's sorta because of my paranoia.

So, that's my advice for you to do instead of spitting at the internet. Do Drama.

Ultra's Orders (Like doctors orders, but with an implied threat)
Just finished a productions course actually. We did a futurization of Macbeth in a comedic manner while parodying Star Wars and Star Trek.

Suffice to say, hella fun.

I was totally on board with you until you suggested a kid (who clearly has enough to deal with) opt for reaching out to cancer as a comforter!
>_<
Well one way to look at, But from my own viewpoint smoking has helped me a lot to just unwind and get through the shit storms that life throws your way. It's just nice to at times go outside look at the sky smoke and unwind.

Or listen to argentinian dance music. That can be just all kinds of awesome.

Yeah, that was really badly worded of me, in retrospect. =P

Yeah, but I was just being a prick.

You have a good point, and I hate how this type of thing happens all the time. Especially with girls who just assume I only gave her something because I want to have sex with them, or those "bro" kids who think I'd love CoD 5 because I'm badass at UT.

Here's the weird thing about your gaming examples...

I do look like Snake. OK, not as built (but quite athletic) but the face is scarily similar. And the hair.

Sorry, for being off topic there. But once you're out of school I hope things ge easier. In theory, the should do.

I am almost exactly like you in one way:

I'm a girl.

Until now I didn't dress like any other girls, or wear make up, hell I didn't even care about my appearance. A few people started telling me I looked like a boy (including my mum probably). It was only then that I thought "fuck it, you win. I'll dress like a damn girl...". I sometimes wish I was a boy to be honest, there's less luggage on the chest, you don't have to worry about eyebrows, make-up, bras, pretty clothes... I wouldn't be too happy about having a schlong though.

Chill out, if you don't like what you are; change it, if you do; keep it. And fuck the dick-heads that tell you otherwise.

couldn't you just go outside and look at the sky, i take breaks as often as the smokers in my company but opt not to smoke - i find it makes for more interesting conversation if you aren't out there for the obvious.

I guess I fall into the category of androgynous male although I hadn't really thought of it like that until reading this thread, I saw the title and just thought "oh, its a thread about japanese rock or something". I must say it's something that's never bothered me, yeah most clothes look terrible on me because of my body shape, and I get the odd "how, are yee a lad or a lass" comment from charvs but I just ignore it, or use my rapier like wit to give the person who said it a verbal beatdown.

Damn, made me think about some stuff, but yes JRPGS and anime do have your type of male. But think of it this way, everyone in high school is a dick, I was never the most popular, but I was never the most unpopular, you know how someone unpopular becomes "cooler" in the eyes of his peers? By making fun of the less popular, now in your case you were born that way and can't do anything about it, but there are other people(goths and emos) who just put all their makeup and dark clothes on to "express themselves". There was a guy like you in my school, and I made fun of him, he wore tight clothing, had a lisp, and was a total ass hole the first time I met him. I was the fat guy in high school, all I can say is it is a good thing there were fatter girls than me.

Let the man rant. Sure he's a little aggravated but that's fine, this is the Internet and we're going to hear a variety of emotions and personalities, often when we don't want to. The best thing to do is at least TRY to provide some comfort; if you don't agree with what he's saying, fine, but there's no need to attack him.
hehehe, sorry sorry. I don't care if he's angry or not, it's not like reading it is going to make me mad or whatnot, but typing it will coll him off a bit. also
im a cruel and unusual person who will tell the person on the cliff to jump if that's all he thinks he's worth. a person is only worth how much they want to be. in the end, that guy probably never saw my rant, or even if he had, it's all good.

Hahaha, I think that is the funniest and yet greatest piece of advice ever.

I used to be androgynous, and got teased for it a lot. Thirteen years old, six foot one, fat but curvaceous, soprano, cried about everything. They would never shut up about my "womanliness". Now I'm sixteen, fat disappearing, lots of muscle, deep bass voice, laugh at all insults, impossible to make cry.

And I hate them all for it.

I guess you could say it was an adaptation, to stop getting teased, I changed. My social skills are still sub-par, but at least I don't spew "gay twatisms" anymore (whatever THOSE are).

Enjoy being androgynous, I now feel like just another dumb white jock (for the record, I'm not dumb, but I sure FEEL I am).

Easier access, you don't know how useful the dangly bits are until your being chased and you need to hurry up real quick. :p

Dunno why I never posted until now, saw this thread awhile ago but oh well, I'll pitch in I suppose.

Androgynous 17 year old over here and I'm proud of it =)

Now I just wish I could get some money for plastic surgery so I could look even more androgynous >_>;
Yeah, speaking of that, you know what's weird? I got a major self-esteem boost after making this topic and getting so many positive replies. *thumbs up*

Personally I wish I could get some money for a proper spring/fall wardrobe. I honestly have nothing perfectly suitable... I mean I have some great shirts for summer and some good sweaters and stuff for winter, but I'm really lacking in jackets and such... although I do have that really light silk scarf...
