I decided to create a new list in Listal. This time the subject is all Angels from Videogames.
I choose some obvious games for this Thread [like Diablo and Might and Magic], but I need help to search for more games.
Any kind of angel is acceptable. Corrupted, fallen, undead, etc. Any kind.
Below are some examples:

These many types of Angels are from the games:

Diablo
Might and Magic
Dungeon Keeper

With your help I will make my list more interesting.
Thank you very much!!!

Check the Lists I made below:

I think Pit from the Kid Icarus games might be an Angel. Not entirely sure on that though

I know Dominions 2 & 3 (possibly 1 as well, never played it) both allow you to summon various forms of Angel to help you fight and such.

Aside from those nothing else springs to mind at the moment.

EDIT: Bayonetta & Darksiders too. Can't believe I forgot those!

Shin Megami Tensei has a bunch of Angels.
And far too many more to count, since the games always have strong religious themes. You can check the lists of the Divine race [http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/Divine] and the Herald race [http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/Herald] for many more.

Bayonetta fights angels doesn't she?
There's the "angel" from Borderlands.

Freaks me out.
Also! Flonne from Disgaea, Archangel Vulcanus, Seraph Lamington...

Well, there was El Shaddia.

But, depending on how loosely you want to classify angels as, the Breath of Fire series had the Wing Clan.

And of course you can recruit as many generic angels as you like, and the Empire has a shockingly large number of them in their service. But if you include those there's been at least 100 games with angels as generic enemies or allies. One Tactics Ogre game has one as the final boss, as does Final Fantasy Tactics.

Regardless, that's going to be a very long list, particularly if you include analogues such as the Maia (Gandalf) and Valkyries or people who merely take on angelic forms. Lots in Darksiders and Bayonetta. Breath of Fire has the entire Wing clan if they count.

There are Angels in Tales of Symphonia.

Well ok, they were created using Crucix crystals, but it gives them the appearance of Angels to enact their nefarious scheme.

Wow, that dark angel artwork really looks like an Ancient from Legacy of Kain.

Anyway, here is a list of games from the top of my head:

Archangel - an older RPG-ish game which, if I recall correctly, was a bit stiff and on the boring side. Still, as the title suggests, you play as an archangel[footnote]and because the game was so great at creating suspense, in addition to the title, you are given a character named Michael who has no memory. I think that's about the point I quit playing. But no, I don't think this was a big revelation in the end - only for the begginning.[/footnote]

Darksiders - the angels are a thing, yes. Maybe most notably Abaddon and Uriel.

Devil May Cry 3 - the Fallen [http://devilmaycry.wikia.com/wiki/The_Fallen], if they count - no other actual angels, though.

Disciples 2 - one of the upgrade paths for a human fighter leads them to become an angel.

Messiah - you are playing an angel again but I think it was slightly more thrilling than Archangel.

Scribble nauts - technically. You can summon them. Might not be a good example, though.

Thank you for your post.
I thought in Devil may Cry 2 the female protagonist was an angel. Am I wrong?

You are not wrong. Well, technically. I mean I certainly can't say you're wrong - I just haven't played it and I have never bothered enough with the story to know. So - maybe.

How about the One Winged Angel himself?

There are a ton of angels in Bayonetta

Am I doing this right?

Kamidori Alchemy Meister has some angels

Xenosaga has some characters with angel wings, but not really sure if they would be called angels. Not really sure if Valkyries would count , but there are the Valkyrie Profile games and they sometimes have wings.

This game has some angels

Glad you made this thread, because I like angels and would like to see them more in games.

Good about Bayonetta.
However a question about sephiroth:
He is indeed an angel?

Good lord, what was the point of this post?

That's debatable. His only defining angelic feature is his one wing (and for like, one battle, six wings), and it's made quite clear throughout VII that he's little more than a test subject. There's nothing particularly holy about him. However, he's frequently called the One-Winged Angel, and some of his moves also use the word (such as Heartless Angel). Personally, I'd say no, he's not an angel.
