The movie itself will not, in fact be about Angry Birds. Rather, it will be about Morgan Freeman playing the game on his coffee break, getting frustrated with one of the levels, and then getting back to his job of narrating everything.
I agree with the article. You have to respect the giant brass balls Rovio has. Any sane company would want to build their brand in the medium they work best in, or, I don't know, make another game. Going for broke in practically every market sector from boardgames to movies takes business stones. I wish them the best of luck.
