I did, but all you said was "I'll watch more or less any anime with a decent storyline, i don't require lots of swordfighting (or any tbh), and comedy is always a bonus." which doesn't give me much to go at. So I gave you a few suggestions. Take them or leave them.Elivercury said:Thank you for not reading my post....
Well yeah I would but I'm a A-HoleElivercury said:Well i wasn't suggesting people suggest stuff they thought was terribleArehexes said:Well of course people are going to list anime they like, why would I list anime I hated I wouldn't even remember it if asked to list it >_>Elivercury said:I'm aware there are lots of anime threads before (lots!), but i decided to make my own as a) i was HOPING that i might get some specific and considered suggestions instead of just peoples own personal favourites reeled off. I mean, i've seen ones where they specifiy it had to have very little/no action and plenty or romance, and people are suggesting bleach/naruto. While very good anime, it's hardly fitting what was requested.galletea said:I'd use the search bar and check out some of the threads we've done on this before. Just because there were a load of good suggestions before, and maybe you'll find something that interests you outside your comfort zone.
Second was as mentioned previously, most of the threads do just consist or a large list of peoples favourite anime's, without any reasons why they are good/info about the anime, and tbh, if i wanted a list of anime, i could just google it. Granted if lots of people state an anime is good then it is a decent indication, but 50% are bleach, naruto, one piece and death note.
Perhaps it was pointless to create the thread, but i figured it couldn't hurt![]()
Oh yeah try Afro Samurai and Samurai Champloo great stuff.![]()
Just that they give a bit of consideration to what i said i like. I mean, if your friend wants to go do something and they hate/fear animals, you don't suggest going to the zoo do you?
I didn't specify a number, i just asked that people don't list their favourite anime regardless of whether they thought i'd like it or notAthlonX2 said:Great Teacher Onizuka - comedy/drama

I see why you do it, but going by your list, you seem to have similar tastes to a lot of folks here, so the same things do get recommended time and time again you see.Elivercury said:I'm aware there are lots of anime threads before (lots!), but i decided to make my own as a) i was HOPING that i might get some specific and considered suggestions instead of just peoples own personal favourites reeled off.
